Just watched Howard's last airing (July 4th), on E! I'm not gonna go into detail about how I've watched him on TV for years, but I just wanted to say that I'll always watch the re-runs, but it's nothing like listening to him in the morning. I kinda feel bad that I never really took the time to carry around a portable radio and listen to him in the mornings on my way to school or on the way to work during the summer. The few times I did, I remember it's nothing like on TV. Howard is the last of a dying breed - guys who say exactly what's on their mind and don't worry about people being ultra-sensitive to every little thing.
The guy's hilarious, plain and simple. He could be a jurk, but so what. At least he's not scared to show his true colors, you know what I'm saying? And if anything, he made fun of himself more than anyone else. If only all of us could be that honest with ourselves...
I'll cut this short. Just wanted to say that Howard's the man, and I'll always regret not having listened to him more often on the radio all these years. He'll be missed.

I listened to him all the time in the 80's when his stuff was really fresh. I loved it.
btw I met him last Christmas time. I was on 57th around Park and he came out of the building there, I think it's where he has his apartment. I just instinctively said hi to him (forgetting my NY cool of ignoring celebrities) and he actually was quite nice and friendly, which I didn't expect.
that's hot. i used to love when artie would just get wasted, or when howard would get on Baba-Booey's case all the time. Of course, theres always the hot chicks...
I'm not even sure I could pick out a favorite memory.
The thing I think that makes me laugh the most is when hot girls come in they make Gary cover his face cause hes so dam ugly, absolutely hilarious
lol ya.....and Gary's like: "I can't breathe too well." Howard's like - "Ohh quite you're whining..."
classic...
