AND it looks like they can do it again. Kings almost won the last game too. They have a chance in this series. A small one, but a chance nonetheless, their D is serious. Ron Artest erased Manu Ginobli from the game. WOW!!
djsunyc @ 4/29/2006 12:50 AM
GREAT ending. how about kmart going up on duncan to win it.

but i doubt the spurs lose another game in the series.
SlimPack @ 4/29/2006 1:33 AM
unfortunately I have to agree with dj. the kings are a tough team nowadays, but at at the end of the day, the spurs are still the spurs. they wont lose the series to the kings. I predict that the kings will win one more game max.
Killa4luv @ 4/29/2006 2:25 AM
Kings will definitely win another game. Have you guys watched the series at all? They pushed it to overtime without Artest. They gave that game away. They will win another game at least. Ron-Ron completely negates Manu, all while abusing him down the stretch of the game for easy layups.

I like the way the refs are letting guys play in the playoffs, they should do this all year.
Caseloads @ 4/29/2006 8:32 AM
I'd love to see the Kings knock off the Spurs totally from the playoffs!
Marv @ 4/29/2006 8:55 AM
^ Not me, I want to see the Spurs meet the Pistons in the finals. I think that would be a dynamite high-drama series. The rematch angle. The Flip v. Larry angle. The TD as an all-time great angle. Manu/Bowen v. Rip and TD v. Ben and Rasheed are such great matchups.

I'd rather see the Lakers, Clippers or Mavs in the finals versus the Cavs, Miami or Chicago.

I dont care about the Spurs or Pistons.

Me too. Because if they win without Larry with the exact same team, playing against the exact same team, what does that say?

it says that the pistons are a machine.
it says that carlisle laid a great foundation.
it says lb continued to improve on that foundation.
it says that flip is also a good coach that continued to build on that foundation.

it says that when larry said, "wait a minute - i forgot to tell you guys that i love you" during that last timeout the playrs looked at each other, said "ewwwwww," were major skeeved out and in their distraction lost their championship.

LOL!!!!!

it says that larry isn't all that great of a coach and rode a back to back 50 win team to a championship, which suddently validated his career of choking, and in reality, he's not really that great of a coach anymore and for sure not worth 10 million a year.

well, atleast to me that's what it says...feel free to disagree.

on a team where nobody is worth their salary...$10 mil fits the bill. but at least his doesn't count against the cap.

yo...manu is artest's biatch.
bruce bowen is getting abused by bonzi. abused.

sacratomato blowing out the spurs and about to tie it up 2-2.

UNREAL.

all we need now is milwaukee to win tomorrow and the apocalypse will be upon us.

I told you guys they would win again. Once again, Ron Artest has made Ginobli invisible. Reminiscent of how Rick Fox erased Peja from one of those LA-Spurs series.

Ginobli has 3 freaking points!!!!

I actually love this. I remember guys talking about how SAR sucked and was a loser and couldn't help a team and yadda yadda ya. Not only SAR, but Bonzi, a guy I was begging for last off season is really busting ass out there. He's killing SA. I love it, a collection of career losers, and malcontents, coming together and giving the reigning champs the series of their lives. I hope the Knicks and their fans can learn a lesson from this. Win-Lose- or draw, Sacremento is playing so so tough. And they almost won without Artest, but with him, he is a freaking GAME CHANGER!!!! This is unreal!!!!

We need a defensive impact player, they have Bonzi who is solid on D, and Ron who is out of this world. If we can get solid D at 2 out of these 3 positions (sg, sf, or pf) we can do the same. Sac is up 26 right now. WOW!! I love this game!!!

Milwaukee wont do it, I don't think. They got dismantled twice. Sac has been playing well in 3 out of 4 games. I dare say if not for that fugazy Artst suspension, Sac would be up 3-1. Yes, I dare say it.

leader and soul of Sacramento - Mike Bibby. NCAA champion; multiple 50 wins seasons; big time performer especially in the play-offs

leader and soul of NY - ?

btw
I am a Bonzi fan as well.

McK1 @ 5/1/2006 10:57 AM
further keeping things in perspective, SAR is a 4th option.

*sigh*, it looks like I was right. and I actually wanted the kings to win too. but the spurs just dont lose to inferior teams, they just dont.
