Off Topic · OT: Coffee Nazis (page 1)

Do any of you guys at your jobs have these coffee clubs? Well, anyway, we have one at mine. They're like these cult societies, where people pay a small membership fee to get in, so they get unlimited coffee. Anyway, sometimes people bring in food (FOR THE ENTIRE BUILDING, NOT JUST THE COFFEE CLUB). Well the coffee people saw people by their little area and then put up a sign that said the following: "Coffee, food, beverage and supplies are for coffee club members ONLY. PLEASE BE RESPECTFUL OF THAT." Well, yesterday I noticed, someone wrote the following underneath:

TRESPASSERS WILL BE SHOT!

Hahahaha. I was dying when I read this and I thought I should share.

how did you end up posting this on a saturday, i think you woulda got alot more responses. I am unclear about the whole food situation tho. Who brings the food, how much, etc? Who establishs who the food belongs to? Is their sign referencing all of the food that gets brought in, or just their coffee club stuff?

The coffee supplies are provided by the coffee club for the coffee club. However, sometimes people bring in food, e.g. cakes or leftover snacks, and leave it on the table by the coffee machine. Yes, the coffee club is a cult. Yes, the sign was funny. *grins*

The sign appeared to be referencing all food.
