Hey guys, this is WAY off Topic, and I hope you all do not mind my OT post, but here goes my plea/dilemma:
Hey all, as you know, I am a filmmaker from New York, and I just won an auction for a DVX100 camera, which is a pretty sweet professional camera, and there's only one problem. The camera is $1,900 and I only have $1,500. If anyone is interested in donating money for a producer credit for my upcoming film, The Forest Hills, which you can type in on the imdb.com, then I have a proposition. I cannot offer anything other then copy of DVD, screen credit and imdb.com credit. I wouldn't ask this normally, but I have six days to get this guy the money.
Executive Producer - $200
Producer Credit - $100
Associate Producer - $50
I'm sorry for asking this, and I normally wouldn't, but as you know, filmmaking is something I take very seriously and with this camera, I can do some serious damage and make some kick ass horror films. And I also don't mind people coming to the locations / sets to help out either. Keep it real Knick fans!
I feel really silly asking and sort of ashamed, but extreme situations call for extreme measures, right?
Nothing to be ashamed of. I'm an aspiring filmmaker, too. Is this offer still good?
