I am in Huntington - it got bad here, my step mom was driving her car and got caught in a flash flood - her car needs a new engine and the work is estimated to cost over 18k - they might total the car but we wont know until Monday. Apparently 4 other cars were att he dealer with the same problem.

I live in Massapequa. The weather was pretty bad and there were a lot of power outages and all, but it was fine where I was, besides the phone lines and all. I actually did not know there were any tornados, but the floods were pretty bad.

Check that, I just talked to my buddy, who is a mailman, and he said he was basically right at the tornado and had to get in door ledges for cover and was in a really bad position. I guess it was just a really mild tornado though, b/c I didn't even see or hear about it until now. I guess I got lucky along with my friend and most other people.
