In three games, he's averaged 19.3 mpg, 10.7 ppg, 7 rpg, 2.3 apg, 75% FT, 1.3 bpg, 2.67 TO and 3 fouls per game. His numbers are 'wayyyyy' up from last year, even though he's played only about 8 min. per game, 49 games last year. I'd say he's going to be a monster in the middle. Curry's going to have his hands full with this guy. It should be fun to watch. I gotta admit, Bynum is having better first few seasons than Curry did, which means, Bynum will develop much quicker. Same situation as Curry also, came right out of H.S.
He hit a layup over Garnett in the first quarter and dramatically blocked a shot by Mike James after the Timberwolves' guard appeared to have a clear path on a baseline drive in the third quarter. For added measure, Bynum hit a hook shot over Garnett midway through the fourth quarter and blocked another of James' attempts in the final minute.
"With Andrew, we just keep feeding him things and hope he can keep reading defensively, and he can become a guy that can protect the lane for us," Jackson said. "It's something we haven't had for a couple of years now, but he's the one we envisioned would be that kind of guy."
What kind of guy did Isiah envisioned Frye to be Loren woods ?
FOlks, calm down. You have to also take into account who the Lakers coach is. There is no guarantee Isiah nor Larry Brown would have had much success with Bynum. Knicks are similar to a child playing with an XBOX. Ever-changing game play
