The Golden State Warriors agreed to buy out the contract of Dajuan Wagner, who played just seven minutes in one game this season, according to multiple reports Monday.

The San Francisco Chronicle and SI.com reported the Wagner buyout, citing unnamed sources familiar with the negotiations.

Wagner, the once-promising point guard whose NBA career was derailed by injuries and a serious illness, signed with the Warriors on Sept. 22 after being out of the league for nearly two years.

He started six of the Warriors' seven preseason games, leading the team in scoring twice and being hailed as a medical miracle by team personnel. But he started the regular season on the inactive list and did not travel with the team on its recent three-game road trip.

I feel terrible this kid, he was an extremely gifted scorer from Camden NJ. I hope he can find a way to get his career back on track.
