As Jim Rome mentioned, the Sixers are 4-4 since Iverson left. The Nuggets are 2-4 since he joined them.

To be fair, it's too early to judge, as the Nuggets have players suspended and the Sixers were playing without Iverson before. If the Nuggets went .500 without Carmelo, it would be very impressive.

This is the kind of thing that we just won't know until the playoffs. I'm all for seeing if Iverson can step up his game to move in a team flow, where he truly gets his teammates involved. If he does that, he gets a lot of credit. He hasn't done it yet in his career (his opportunities for having been able to do so are questionable), so it will be interesting to see if he does.

there is naturally going to be an adjustment period for both teams to get used to the new roles of players... AI is easily 1 of the top 3 SG's playing in the NBA today... 1 of the only players cabable of putting up 40 pt. 12 assist 5 steal type games several times over the course of the season... anyone think that adding a player like that won't improve your team u must be crazy... the benefits for Philly will be proven over the longhaul in terms of cap flexibility & future prospects... the obvious winners in the deal are the Nuggets in the short term.
