New Giants GM Jerry Reese mentioned Michael Turner as a possible offseason trade target during an interview with the YES network Wednesday.
Reese is trying to come off as an aggressive new leader and acquiring Turner, who might command a second-rounder and another mid- to late-round pick as compensation, could be his first big move. The Ravens have also been mentioned as potentially having interest in LT2's backup.

This would be a great first move by Reese, if you've seen this guy run, then you'd be interested in him too. Obviously him being behind Tomlinson made things a bit easier for him since he was just a 3rd down back but he runs hard and quick and can catch passes out of the back field. He would be a great guy to target in replacing Tiki.

isn't it considered tampering to be talking about other team's players that are under contract?

Michael Turner would be a nice addition, but Reese better not be like his predecessor & give up multiple high draft picks to get him... a 2nd rounder & a 6th or 7th i'm more than fine with... no 1st round picks & no 3rd rounders being thrown in just to sweeten the pot!

During the playoffs, the announcer said the Chargers consider MT to be a better runner between the tackles than LT.

It would be great to get Turner here. Next step is ridding ourselves of Eli.
