I think they win at least 2 of those games- against seattle and the kings-

to not get in, they'd basically have to loose 3 or 4- not sure about the tie breaker- and the clips would have to sweep the rest of their games

They'll make it (Phil Jackson has NEVER missed the playoffs) but it would be best if they not fall to #8 and face Dallas in the first round.

It's pathetic that Phil and Kobe have the team in this predicament. It just shows how seriously overrated they have been. Phil has to have the best 1-2 punch in the NBA to be effective and Kobe is the NBA's best second banana player ever, that's it. I knew I was on point a month ago when I brought this up. No way should the best player and coach in the NBA lead a team to a .500 record.

BTW in 4gms this yr although sample size, the Lakers are 2-2 without Kobe.

Actually Phil Jackson has missed the playoffs before( fIRST YEAR BACK WITH kOBE) Aand I hope they lose all their games so my roommate can feel the same pain I feel with the Knicks.

That's not correct that was the Rudy T yr.

Kobe had Lamar and Caron on his team and as soon as Odom went down with a shoulder injury second half Kobe proceeded to lead the Lakers to a glorious 2-19 record without him. In terms of W-L Kobe has been an underachiever as a sole leader.
