i'm interested to see what Ramses Barden can do now that he'll get more opportunities in the offense... i think he could be a nice go to target in the red zone & on underneath routes while teams key in on Nicks & Manningham.

same here

if you told me coming into this season that the Giants would've been without Smith and Hixon week 10 and I wouldn't be worried, I would've said you were effin nuts! And I'm not worried at all! EFF THE COWGIRLS!!!

what the flip....
BigDaddyG @ 11/14/2010 8:21 PM
33 to 20 we can't stand prosperity
NYKBocker @ 11/14/2010 8:34 PM
The defense really struggled today.
TMS @ 11/14/2010 10:01 PM
way too many mistakes... this team always gets cocky & starts to believe in their own press clippings & lays an egg like that... they better be ready to play next week cuz the Eagles are always tough.

i still think that last holding call on the Nicks TD was BS tho... he chipped blocked him while he was coming through, i didn't see any hold... maybe i missed something... Nicks dropped an easy TD pass going through the middle too, Eli led him perfectly... Boss dropped one too that hit him right in the helmet... this team seriously needs to change gloves or something, i'm so sick of seeing so many passes slip right through their hands.

he looked pretty good but then went down with a twisted ankle.

Giants did everything before the game was played to work this into a loss make shift OL injuries to Steve Smith. Bad penalties. Two TDs taken away because of penalties and one resulted in a Int that went the other way. Brandon Jacob not getting the 4&1 come on man. Defense mailed it in on many plays. This was an ultimate trap game and the giants got trapped big time. Its ok though I prefer the team to muddle along it makes it tough for opponents to gauge the team and prepare for them.

Updating a previous item, Giants WR Ramses Barden has been diagnosed with a "significant ligament injury" in his left foot.

He also has a fracture in his left leg. Asked Monday if it's an injury Barden could return from this year, coach Tom Coughlin replied "That's unlikely as of now." The Giants' three-receiver set has taken a big hit since last Thursday. It's fallen from Hakeem Nicks-Steve Smith-Mario Manningham to Nicks-Manningham-Duke Calhoun. Barden is headed for injured reserve.

I think a lot of the Dallas loss was the Giants shooting themselves in the foot and they are still a good team. Still there's something to be said when Kitna gets 320+ yards passing by only completing 13 passes. Thats big play after big play. And as I'm sure you saw last night, the Eagles are all about big play after big play. Something needs to change defensively for the Giants to stay in the game next week.

I think the offense can score early and often against the Eagles, but did you ever think Duke Calhoun would be the no.3 reciever. So much for having worlds of depth at that position- now we've got a fringe player playing in base sets. We did sign Derek Hagan today, and that should actually help a lot. I'm still surprised we cut him in the first place.

TMS @ 11/17/2010 12:33 AM
why not give Victor Cruz a look, he was stellar in the preseason... i think he could do a nice job in the slot.
TMS @ 11/17/2010 1:34 AM
ah, nvm... he's on the IR
BigDaddyG @ 11/21/2010 9:14 PM
It looks like we'll be able to control the clock against the Philadelpia Vicks. Now if we can only get TDs instead of Fgs.
TMS @ 11/22/2010 12:19 AM
sliding feet first is apparently something too complicated for Eli to process.

What is the diff though with Bradshaw's fumble where it clearly shows that his forearm was down first and Eli's where his forearm was down first as well.

because Bradshaw went down as a result of contact whereas Eli dove head first & isn't considered down until he's touched by a defender... the ball came loose before he got touched so it's considered a fumble.

TMS @ 11/22/2010 4:10 PM
the hits just keep on coming... Hakeem Nicks out for 3 weeks with Compartment Syndrome in his right leg, whatever the hell that means... wonderful.
jusnice @ 11/22/2010 4:39 PM
Wow - this is a major, major blow. Our offense was clicking and now Eli will be throwing to a bunch of practice squad wideouts. I don't see this helping in the turnover department either. Shit.
TMS @ 11/22/2010 4:44 PM
Derek Hagan is gonna see a lot of action in the next few weeks... hope he's up to the task... i have no idea who our #3 receiver is gonna be now... maybe they bring Sinorice Moss back.
VDesai @ 11/22/2010 5:04 PM
They can't bring Sinorice Moss because they waived him injured.

They may sign Kevin Curtis who is a former 1,000 yard reciever for the Eagles. He had testicular cancer.

NYKBocker @ 11/22/2010 7:29 PM
WTF? Victor Cruz. Is he recovered from his hammy injury?
