i have to play mind games with myself just to watch this series.

flat out ugly!
Pike @ 5/21/2003 12:00 PM
It's ugly, man... the opposite of the Western Conference Series. It seems like nobody is capable of putting the ball in the hole.
prodson @ 5/21/2003 12:54 PM
i agree. what's even worse is when the announcers try to make heroes out of the few that can.

Pike @ 5/21/2003 1:03 PM
I thought it was amazing the Nets won when you consider KMART was the only guy (on the team) that played well. Kidd looked a little less energetic than usual, no?
prodson @ 5/21/2003 1:12 PM
i get that feeling that he can't wait to face the spurs and that he is mentally tired of looking at detroit. no?
Pike @ 5/21/2003 1:17 PM
I dunno, I suppose Detroit's stiffling defensive play had something to do with it.

All I can say is, if I'm the Nets, I'm rooting like heck for the Mavericks.
prodson @ 5/21/2003 1:21 PM
yep

prodson @ 5/24/2003 11:02 AM
the 2003 detroit pistons may be in the eastern conference finals but they aint the "bad boys"...

... Nets had a lackluster regular season and anything but, since he playoffs started.

It appears Kenyon Martin has taken a seat among the league's very best. He's a GREAT player... and makes the Nets a contender. What can you say about Jason Kidd... it's a joy to watch him play. As one of the commentators said last night, "he's putting on a clinic".

Also, you got to give props to the Nets backup guards. They are getting it done in a big way.

if you are reading this, you really need to find something to do !!
