Wait a minute. Wasn't Curt Schilling accused of using roids himself? I'm getting sick and tired of hearing this bitch's mouth!!!

Curt needs to shut up before someone analyzes that bloody sock for traces of HGH.

or traces of ketchup

as soon as Curt agrees to giving back his '01, '04 & '07 WS rings for playing alongside teammates who undoubtedly had to have had some experience using roids or HGH at some point, then maybe we can start taking his idiotic comments on this issue more seriously?

i think also they may want to test that ball that Gonzo scribbed into short CF to end the '01 WS for traces of the HGH that was probably flowing through his veins back then... or maybe they oughta start testing guys he's played w/in BOS like Varitek, Kapler too? we already know Gagne's name has been brought up in the Mitchell report... apparently Curt seems to think his self righteous soap box preaching only applies when it involves players on other teams.

IMO u CAN'T make a distinction between what players took them & who didn't because we just don't know for sure either way... that's why u can't single out guys like Roger or Barry Bonds because roids & HGH were so prevalent in the entire culture of baseball during this era that every record anyone ever posted will be tainted in 1 way or another... so just put this into the history books as the "Steroid era" & leave it at that... put the stats in the record books, put the players in Cooperstown where they belong, & every fan of baseball can decide for themselves whether or not they want to hold the fact that these guys played during an era in which PED's were a part of the game for better or for worse against them or not.

to track down each & every player that ever used & strip them of any accolades or WS rings they may have won along the way is an impossibility... anything short of that is singling out certain players & allowing others who committed the exact same acts of cheating to be let off scott free... where's the consistency in that?

Especially Yankees, who he so passionately has gone onto a public message board to bash. Fuck'n freak!

On this one TMS, I totally disagree. Sorry. Justice sucks in this country!!! I remember when they had the three strike law in California. About a dozen years back, this one dude got caught stealing a slice of pizza 'BECAUSE HE WAS HOMELESS AND HUNGRY'. He got sent away for life, for his third strike, because he was hungry. I find it rediculous for this country to just sweep this under the rug without at least a proper investigation. SOB, I'll be damned if they let this one go. Where's my justice at? 8 men, including Shoeless Joe got thrown out for life. Pete Rose has been banned for life and to suggest that we just forget about it and let history take care of it is absolutely insane. Where's the justice? I hope to God peope boycott games all over. I have little belief left over in baseball.

ok, it's fair to say that whoever cheated needs to be called out on it... i fully agree w/u there... i understand that both Bonds & Clemens likely did cheat the system... it's just hard for me to point a finger at 1 or 2 high profile individuals when it was likely that a good percentage of the players they were competing against were also on the stuff as well... i just think this whole steroids thing was so deeply embedded into the culture of baseball during this era that you can't just pick & choose... it's a fubar situation dude... i think it's a waste of time trying to figure out who did & who didn't cuz really we're never gonna know for sure unless these athletes test positive for the stuff (like Palmeiro)... i don't see how Selig is gonna go after certain players based on all this heresay testimony... whatever happened to due process?
4949 @ 12/29/2007 8:20 PM
Selig blew it and blew me off as a fan. I don't like to drag this out either. I just wish these guys would start admitting it, no matter the consequeces. They owe it to all' of us. lol

I know for a fact that baseball saved my life. That's why I'm so passionate about this.
