It's just the new trailer that basically shows the monster walk between buildings in a shadow of night and smoke. They slo mo in in the second clip underneath it.....

I can tell you what it looks like to me.....but I will wait for some responses.

Check this youtube clip of a guy that really did his research trying to crack this thing before the new trailer came out.....it's 8 mins but he makes mad sense:

I think the art for this movie showing Ground Zero burning are total BS and whoever had the bright idea to post them all over NYC is a should be tied to a chair and forced to watch an endless loop of Olson Twin movies.

Maybe I'm too sensative here, but couldn't you show any other part of Manhattan burning?

In all the posters and crap they show the World Financial Buildings and the surrounding Ground Zero area burning. Classy move. Nobody ever attacks the Upper East Side? What's the deal with that?

Well who wants to terrorize the upper east side? Unless its a giant crackhead strolling too far below 96th street......

I think the movie will be good by the way......I think we will be thoroughly disappointed by this monsters look but its probably gonna be vicious and wild......and that's the whole point. The way its filmed is also a huge plus.

If you squint at it, the monster looks like one of those crazy homeless dudes from the Village, just with a push cart that has so much crap piled on it that it started knocking over buildings.

He just wants some change people, give him some change!

I slowed moed it a few months back and it looked to be as tall as a building and greenish, with some kind of mushroom head.

Their probably a fan of the show. But I noticed that to and agree with your sensativity. I thought it was tasteless also. SOBs!

Al sharp would be like 'why you attacking the projects'? The only movie I know they used something was in Tompkins Square Park, with Bruce Willis and Samuel L. Jackson in 'Die Hard With A Vengence'. I know some other films appeared in the area, but I just can't remember which ones. Probably a bunch of Woody Allens films.

Spider Man was liberal with random attacks on the city. The Rosevelt Island Tram and so forth.

I guess, "Oh my god, they've hit the Throgsneck Bridge" just doesn't have the same ring to it.

I still haven't seen "I am legend". Those guys were all over the city. They even filmed over by Woodlawn in the Bronx.

But seriously.......someone needs to take down chelsea.

I think Cthulu is the name of the monster. Might have something to do with a drink called slusho as well. It's ironic that this is made a thread because I was doing some intensive research on this movie.

Its probably the most anticipated movie in history. Everyone is combing their "sources" trying to get a sneak peak. Its like trying to find out where your parents hid the christmas presents.

That "slusho" product was tied into the show "Hero's".......I refuse to watch that show till I can get around to purchasing the first season on DVD. I don't like jumpin in and not knowing what's going on. Any "hero's" fans can bring some insite?

How bout the clips I posted? Anybody got any thoughts on that?

from what i've read, it's a big monster with little monsters or things that jump off of it and spread the "virus" or possibly attack humans.

alot of internet hype went into this movie and the marketing strategy was executed perfectly.

but after seeing the previews, and hearing the mindless dialogue "it's alive" "oh my go" and other silly phrases, i don't think this movie is gonna be deep or anything on that level. and considering the actors are straight to dvd types, i'm thinking this will be a popcorn movie where they are trying to make you a person in the movie itself.

Holy shit. That's definately the monster. That's exactly the same creature walking between the buildings in the trailer I posted in the links above.

Wow good job keeping that a secret. I don't think it's meant to be that much of one cuz in slo mo you can clearly see the monster.

Like DJ said.....looks to be a popcorn movie....no depth at all.

I know I know! I have been saving my bottles and cans man to get the dvd's.

I haven't watched either Lost or The Wire yet

I think next weekend I'm going to smoke a lot and drink a lot and hammer out The Wire.
