It sucks, I was really counting on stubhub to get my Knicks and Yankess tickets...

There's two great seats on the ticket exchange for less than face in 306:

French- are you looking at ticketmaster.com? They have plenty of seats available for that game at face value.

The best seats available are in section 343 row F right now, and you can't select anything else...

There are tickets in the 400's that are centered off for face there- but check the link I just gave you.

Aghhh... the good tix are gone !

djsunyc @ 3/19/2008 1:44 PM
there are also 2 tix in section 313 row F (just off center and facing the knicks bench) for $119.98 a piece.
VDesai @ 3/19/2008 1:45 PM
There are some decent ones in 308 ( a little closer to center) as well, but $20 more each. 306 should still be a really nice seat.
VDesai @ 3/19/2008 1:47 PM
405 is a good section two, and only one section away from djsunyc. On 2nd thought...
EnySpree @ 3/19/2008 2:09 PM
Look at these MSG lovers searching like mad men for tickets for someone outta the country. Sick bastards.

How do you get to this part of the website ? When I try your link, I always get a "The page cannot be found. For the Ticketmaster website, please click on this link." at the next step. When I'm trying directly from the website, I can find this page where you select your seat with the map...

I think I have my seats. Last question : at MSG, is row A the best row of any section (the one closest to the action) ?

In this case, row A in section 310 (mid court) would be a good seat ?

Sorry to say French, but what action is that your talking about?

Two teams are playing, right ?
4949 @ 3/19/2008 5:35 PM
Oh yeah, okay.

stubhub sucks for not letting me order those tickets from France ! I sent an email to Martin, to see if I could send the tickets to him so that he could send them to me in Paris... he's the only one I trust on this board, all of you look just too weird on the UK bball pickup games
4949 @ 3/19/2008 6:08 PM
Oh man!!
FrenchKnicks @ 3/19/2008 6:25 PM

I really want those two seats. Section 306 for that price is a great deal, but I just can't order them because I don't live in the US

I'll let u know as soon as someone can save me

Alright, one of my friend in Illinois is ok to send me the tic to Paris. Now, here are my final two choices !!!

Should I get two tix at $125 apiece, row A in section 335 :

or two tix at $65 apiece row C in section 306 :

How do you' feel about the view and distances? Your the one going to the game FrenchKnicks. Not us.
FrenchKnicks @ 3/21/2008 10:41 AM
Guys, I can have two great seats for one of the Red Sox games in April.

Basically, same seats, same price, everything the same... now I have to choose either 4/16 or 4/17.

Any reason to go with one or the other ? If there is a rain delay on the 16th, any chance that they play a double header the next day ? I hope I won't get screwed if one game is cancelled.

Thanks for your quick replies. Besides, any chance to guess the pitching matchups for those games ?
s3231 @ 3/21/2008 11:45 AM
As far as the Garden goes, I sat in section 310, row B, earlier this season and the seats were awesome. However, if I were you, I wouldn't buy tickets for over $100 each in the 300s. As Dj said, I would imagine that the ticket prices will drop significantly by the time that Boston game is here. Plus, I doubt KG, Pierce, and Allen will even play.

As far as the Yankee game goes, I think you should be fine with either of those 2 games. I just looked at the schedule and if the Yankees stick with a 5 man pitching rotation (plus barring any rain delays), it looks like Wang will pitch the 16th and Pettite will pitch on the 17th (however, these things change).

The good thing about getting tix on the 16th is if there is a rain delay, as you pointed out, there is a chance they would do a double header the next day (again, that doesn't mean it would be definite).
FrenchKnicks @ 3/21/2008 12:05 PM
I paid the high price cause I wanted to make sure I got the seats I wanted. Besides, since I have to ship them toa friend in Illinois, who will then ship them to me in Paris, I wanted to make sure I had enough time to get them here.

Besides, I don't see why KG, Pierce or Allen wouldn't play at all in that game. It's not the last game of the season for them. Now I'm sure they will rest them a lot, and that they might now even play in the 4th quarter. But I sure hope they'll have at least through 3 quarters.

I got tix for the Yanks Wednesday game against the Sox. I'd feel terrible if they had to cancel the game. I got two tix rox B in the huge upper section, right in front of 1st base (tier box mvp 625).
FrenchKnicks @ 3/21/2008 12:29 PM
Well, guys, it's a big day, I just ordered EVERYTHING. So here's the program :

On Monday, we'll go the the Knicks home finale against the Celtics. We'll sit row A section 335 in midcourt

On Wednesday, we'll head to Yankee Stadium for the first home game against the Red Sox. We'll sit row B, tier box MVP 625 (second row of the huge upper section, right in front of 1st base)

Then on Friday, we'll experience a clasic Broadway show : Phantom of the Opera. We'll sit on the left front mezzanine, row D.

Now, I just hope my tickets will arrive in Paris
