NBA · Free Agent signing's (page 4)

to bring a specialist player thats way past his prime to a team with absolutely no shot at winning a damn thing is just a stupid idea.
time for the knicks to get younger, and to cut cap. Nuff said
ARES @ 7/16/2003 10:31 AM
the starting five listed would finish last in the nba or close to last.

Shandon Anderson is faster than Mewell, you gotta come better than that son.

The fact that you can even say this shows how foolish and "un" credible you can be... Anderson is as "stiff" as an ironing board.
playa2 @ 7/16/2003 11:17 AM
Pike I see you find it hard to face the fact that Anderson has had the knack of finishing quite well on fast breaks more than ya boy mewell has lately. Credibility from old dailynews crew plz, who needs it.
ARES @ 7/16/2003 11:20 AM
anderson should not even be a topic, he sucks. any one talking about him on the internet in good terms is a clown.

mutumbo is so 5 years ago, get with the times.

you have no credibilty where ever you go.
HARDCOREKNICKSFAN @ 7/16/2003 11:24 AM
After one off-year... people forget Spree's skills so much he gets compared to Shandon Anderson????

Amnesia maybe? Who knows....

Spree had a less-than-stellar year along with the rest of the team. Yes, I count Allan Houston in there too because the Knicks didn't really do any better than the year before despite his career year. It shows how much of an impact Houston really has on this team.

... as I said, the man (PLAYA) gives new meaning to the word CLUELESS!
playa2 @ 7/16/2003 12:09 PM
READ my keys, i'm talking about finishing , like dunks.
Pike @ 7/16/2003 12:16 PM
READ my keys.. Anderson is a good athlete and a HORRIBLE basketball player!
prodson @ 7/16/2003 12:24 PM
playa you scare me.

prodson @ 7/16/2003 12:51 PM
supposedly arenas is going to sign with the washington wizards
Pike @ 7/16/2003 12:55 PM
ulikely... I say he ends up in G.S.
necrom33 @ 7/16/2003 12:59 PM
I was out yesterday so I'm sure y'all must've covered this somewhere, but here goes anyway:

So the two players that people swore up and down we were going to get, Nesto and Kandi, signed elsewhere (Kandi for the MLE NY could've offered, or maybe did offer). So who are our next assigned saviors?
prodson @ 7/16/2003 4:02 PM
you haven't heard?

vranes ...(rolling eyes)
prodson @ 7/20/2003 11:24 PM
corey maggette a utah jazz. wow

i thought kirilenko was the small forward of the future

playa2 @ 7/21/2003 6:38 AM
Prod , you say Arenas to the Wizards, Maggette to the Jazz, I see you have a knack for bringing up fluff reports and the suspects don't call you out. Arenas is going to the team who I still proclaim has the smartest business man in the NBA, OWNER Donald Sterling of the L.A. Clippers. Nuff Said
prodson @ 7/21/2003 1:23 PM
what are you talking about now. calling me out

the wizards made a great offer so did the jazz. who at the time knew the clippers would make an offer tp arenas and match maggette's offer?

i just say what i feel. i'm not a crystal ball

supposedly you claim sterling was a smart business man becuase he stocks young cheap players and he doesn't come out of his pockets now he is coming out of his pockets and you are still screaming smart business man. do you understand that he is signing big contracts. which one is it playa. the chicken or the egg
playa2 @ 7/21/2003 3:22 PM
Prod , he saved enough "JACK" TO BUY YOU AND ME A TEAM, so paying for his own free agents means nothing to him. Dude saved money just to sign the prize litter in the yr 2003, a wise business man I say.
prodson @ 7/21/2003 4:02 PM
which one is it playa the chicken or the egg
ICEMAN @ 7/24/2003 12:03 PM
yet another case of be being accurate, i told yall indy would lose talent after overpaying Oneal
playa2 @ 7/25/2003 6:29 AM
