well i guess its good he admitted to boning the chick, but weird he is not charged with Rape, i mean if he got charged with sexual assault not rape to a degree it had to be consenual to a degree. i hear she cried rape two months prior.

I'd bet anything he'll get off unscathed and I believe he is completely innocent of these charges. As you say, he was smart to immediately admit he committed adultery which will cost him a lot of money, tarnish his image and possibly affect his marriage but, now the only thing that matters is beating these charges....

I can't see how good is it admitting to something after the fact...Guilt complex?, especially when you know what happen from the get-go.

If he would've come clean as soon as the news broke, the story may have turned out differently. Waiting for forensic medical proof leaves one's opinion limited in defense of Kobe.

And one of the most cynical view I've ever heard on any sports figure was hearing someone mentioning how this was some kind of ploy to tarnish Kobe's goody-two-shoes [sneakers] image so he can acquire some kind of wangster credo.

Not only is it that No One in their right mind would ever give him any kind of props for being labeled a criminal...
