Well, just look in the mare and ask yourself. 'Was it really worth being so nasty about the whole affair the last several months? Supporters could've run on obama's character alone. It's too late for both of us, I'm afraid.

And that is the first negative video I seen against obama, to tell you the truth.

You'll see what happens.

I dont know what to tell you. Again I havent seen the level of negative rhetoric from the Obama camp and base, that I have seen from the other side.

Clinton supporters need to grow up and stop being such sore losers. I'm talking about the reasonable, yet overly emotional ones. The racist ones can fall on something sharp for all I care.

And will you' grow up and stop being a loser, if obama loses? Your not really being fair about this. I've met plenty of racist on the other side and plenty of emotional one's myself. It comes down to a matter of 'do I want to really deal with this'? But it doesn't change my mind about what I been put through. My only complaint is, if Michigan and Florida where included, then this wouldn't be an issue for me, win or lose. It would have been fair, and now big nose polosi is saying obama will seat Michigan and Florida? Where's the fairness in that?

Maybe you should take us more serious.

I would never complain like that, but I agree that most those states Obama won are generally republican states and he most likely will not win them on election night. Hillary won the states that vote democratically in the presidential election. Only time will tell, but its a similar fear I had, McCain being elected would be horrible.

Im voting for Obama and I urge everyone to vote for Obama. Hillary simply blew it by not campaigning until it was over. Now I'm putting all of my support behind Obama. I am scared about what you say because it's strategic--but if Democrats like you and me open our mouths and let the world know we are voting for the right direction for the people of the United States of America. We need to change a few minds.

& i suppose the "right direction" is the way that you're voting & everything else is wrong? i can see now you really are incredibly arrogant, not only in your basketball pronouncements but just in general... i think people are capable of making up their own minds on who to vote for... take your arrogance & endless self righteous bullcrap & shove it up your ass BRIGGS.

whoa, what the hell. A little harsh dont you think? I didnt see anything unreasonable in what Briggs said. This is coming from someone that cant stand Briggs...j/k .

I guess politics brings out the beast in some.
TMS @ 6/1/2008 9:21 PM
i don't appreciate the guy's arrogance on this topic or anywhere else... i could care less who he's gonna vote for, don't be telling people they're voting the wrong way if they don't go his way is what i'm saying... he pulls the same crap w/his damn prospect projections.

& this is coming from someone who rarely if ever comments on politics discussions.

Again, this beef of yours should be with Clinton more than anything else, because she had no problem with this Michigan/Florida arrangement when she thought she was just going to waltz through to the nomination. Why didnt she speak up before? Typical disingenuous Clinton. This is not an Obama issue, and I dont know why you're making this a burden for him and his supporters.

Besides, it doesnt make a difference anyway. Obama won by a sizable margin, by the rules that both candidates agreed upon initially. If they cheat him, I cant imagine why you would assume there wouldnt be a problem.
4949 @ 6/1/2008 9:36 PM
Na, I have no beef anymore. I was merely pointing out a problem, one you took personally with me.

Typical.

I'm just gonna sit back now and watch the Democratic party fall to pieces. And there's nothing you sebstar or me can do about it anymore.

I dont have a personal problem with you. Its clear that both of us feel strongly about our position.

I dont get your fatalistic and myopic viewpoint. Why is the democratic party going to fall to pieces? Once Obama gets his hands on that war mongering-know-nothing-flip flopper, McCain will be throughly exposed and any voter worth their salt will have an easy choice as to whom is the superior candidate of the two.

This is an historic race and I'm not surprised emotions are running high. Once we get passed this, I have a feeling most will come to their senses. At least I hope.
4949 @ 6/1/2008 9:57 PM
I leave it up to you to have the last word. I think I said enough. You' figure it out.

Its hard to be a Democrat. The Democratic party has put forward to undesirable candidates. On one hand you have Hillary Clinton, who alternates between telling lies and putting her foot in her mouth. And on the other hand you have Obama, a guy with little political experience and the most liberal voting record in the senate. How is this guy going to "change" anything when he has no record of cooperating with conservatives on anything? Does "change" mean ramming a liberal agenda that half the country doesnt believe in down our throats? Does "change" mean raising our taxes so that we can give the government more money to piss away on social programs that dont benefit working Americans?

The Mac is Back. A guy that finally represents independants that arent a slave to left wing socialists or right wing nut jobs. THE MAC IS BACK BABY!
Allanfan20 @ 6/2/2008 3:45 AM
Long live us independants.
TMS @ 6/2/2008 4:39 AM
i'm a protestant.
playa2 @ 6/2/2008 5:46 AM
I listened to you guys go back and forth, truly you all have forgotten this country has been hijacked in the last election in 2000.

The false accusation of Osama Bin laden and Saddam Huessein sent our country into a backwards spin forever.

If any president tries to bring the troops home too soon they will end up like JFK .

Hillary and McCain REPRESENT THE CURRENT& PREVIOUS ADMINISTRATION , Obama is the new jack that the hijackers of this country can't trust.
Hillary is a Republican in the guise of a Democrat.

It's easy to vote if you love america. Ididn't vote for george bush because I knew he was a fraud and he has let out all out his garbage for the last 8 yrs. Those that voted for him are silent on on the atrocities under his watch.

Those liberal voting record comments are a joke. Why does every vote for ethics reform that Obama made count as a "liberal" vote?

Bonn1997 @ 6/2/2008 7:41 AM
It's not hard to be a Democrat right now. We have an exciting nominee, control of Congress, and a good chance to control the executive and legislative branches of government next year. That means we have a good chance to bring health care to more than currently have it and to stop more soldiers from dying in Iraq. (Maybe what you really meant is that it's a hard time for Hillary supporters?)

Both Clinton and Obama agreed upon the terms going into the primaries. Now that Clinton is getting waxed, she wants to move back the goal posts and change the rules as usual. She even wants to change the way the democratic nomination is decided.
Exactly; if you think people's constitutional right to vote is being violated, you should (and would) immediately object to the rules rather than waiting until the rules just happen to conflict with your self-interests.

It's not even that. In my case I felt like Hilary can beat McCain, Obama I'm not so sure.

Could you site Obama's voting record that suggests that he is the most Liberal in the Senate and unwilling to cooperate with those ideologically different from him?

And what exactly is the Liberal Agenda? You mean the opposite of the Conservative Agenda that spends billions on providing corporate welfare and making private contractors ridiculous amounts of money. Oh thats right godforbid the government spends money on things like Health Care and Education.

Its amazing that people are still hung up on these media manufacturered labels like Liberal. Liberal ideals are possessed by very few politicians in this country and rest assure they aren't going to be winning the Democratic nominee anytime soon. So don't worry crazy Comie Pinkos won't be running amuck in Washington.

A liberal agenda is one that runs counter to almost all of my beliefs. While I consider myself an independant, my political views fall mostly to the right. In do I really need to post Obamas voting record here? Are you really trying to didpute that he is extremely liberal, and that one some does attempt to rank senators he is ranked to one extreme? Bitty you follow politics, this isnt something that we need debate. I will ask you a question that we both DO NOT know the answer to. Can you the issues that Obama doesnt take the liberal side? Or is he a pro choice, pro gay marriage, pro tax the **** out of you and give it to people who dont work, anti gun, etc etc? Well here a couple votes. Maybe you agree with them?

http://www.humanevents.com/article.php?i...

Bitty, do you think the lack of Partisan bills supported by Obama suggests his unwillingness to compromise and work with others? I do

http://www.realclearpolitics.com/article...

Maybe this is the guy for you. I know hes not the guy for me, and aside from cities on the coasts and college campuses, this guy is unelectable. The fact that he is a new face is a good thing. Im sure were all tired of the same windbags from powerful families running for office. This would have been a great year for the Democrats to put forward a good candidate with half a chance of winning. But Obama is going to get destroyed. The only way Barak wins in November of Mccain drops dead. THE MAC IS BACK!

The thing I don't like about Hilary Clinton regarding the Michigan and Florida vote is that she specifically agreed that those votes would not count. Both her and Obama agreed with the DNC decision not to count those votes. But now that she needs them, she has no problem not only changing her position but also acting as if she is fighting, and has all along been fighting, for Mich and Fla voters' rights. It just shows me her character and that she is willing to do and say anything to get elected. I liked Bill Clinton but I have never been a fan of Hilary and am now even less of a fan.
playa2 @ 6/2/2008 12:09 PM
Izybx, did you vote for Bill Clinton in 1996 ?

Do you think his wife will be different than him ?

Did you also vote for bush in 2000 or 2004 ?

If so do you believe McCain will be any different in policies than him in 2008?

Cmon man this ain't rocket scientist.
