Bitty, Im not going to respond a cut and paste article that you copied from some nutjob on the internet. Voting to reduce troop levels has nothing to do with "supporting the troops". Give me a break. This is a guy who spent a good portion of his life serving in the military, a guy whos father and grandfather, not to mention his own children serve in the military. This is a guy who spent 5 EXTRA years in a POW camp because of his own personal code of HONOR. You are really trying to say that he doesnt support the troops? And you support OBAMA?!!? Give me a break! If you want to knock him on his conservative views, or his drug addict wife, or his age, then fine. But you are really cut and pasting nonsense and saying that this is the candidate that doesnt support the troops? Do you REALLY believe that? SERIOUSLY?

If only us poor independants and conservatives knew that the Obama will pay for your house! He will send your kids to college FREE! Health care for all! Gasoline prices are no problem! The economy will rebound from its imaginary recession under chairman Obama! The troops will come home and Iraq will be fine! Its about the flip flopping on the topic. One minute he's strenuously against torture then but will not stand up to Bush when he advocates for it.

The thing I don't like about Hilary Clinton regarding the Michigan and Florida vote is that she specifically agreed that those votes would not count.

You will note that Obama is just next to Joe Lieberman - one of McCain's potential VP nominees.

It's gonna be real hard to smear McCain. This isn't going to be like John Kerry, where he let them run all over his war record.

Its so easy to tell who thinks for themselves and who lets Hannity do the thinking for them. Its obvious who knows the news and who just watches TV.

I mean, granted I can easily say that its easy to see who watches CNN and gets their opinions, but I know you dont watch news. Actually, a lot of people probably dont know this about silverfuel, but instead of getting informed from the news or the internet, he goes and talks to the candidates himself. He has all the candidates cell phone numers and calls them up to chat and find out the TRUTH. Cause he is SOOOOOOO informed!

I said you guys are misinformed and gave proof and told you guys how to find more proof. izybx had that teenage girl pissy fit calling me everything from fake to stupid and gave no real reply to any of my posts. Great post. About a third of the country will vote Republican and a third Democrat no matter what. They will spin every issue in favor of their candidate. There is no point in even arguing with them.

Umm whats nasty about providing facts. You sound like a bitter Clinton supporter. Don't you realize this election is bigger then her its bigger then Obama or any candidate thats running. I really believe that this one of the most critical elections in the past 20 years. Forget about Republican vs Democrat for a second and think about whats at stake here. Almost every critical facet of this country has been summarily f*cked up by this Administartion. Look Obama wasn't even my first choice or second for that matter but I'll be damned to stand idly by while another Rethug takes office. There is no ideal candidate that has done and said everything that I agree with but the Republicans have thoroughly shown themselves unable to run this country. Therefore it should be a very long long long time before they should ever get even a whiff of the White House. So focus on whats truly best for this country another Republican who has subscribed and actively supportered so many of Bush's failed policies or is this the time to send a very clear message to Washington: that the American public is fed up with the nonesense that has gone down and wants a change.

And if Obama gets elected and doesn't keep his word about change then I'll be advocating for a new leader of the Democratic party to emerge but right he's our best hope at getting back into the White House. So I plan on sticking with him until that last vote is cast in November.

Nutjob hmmm interesting McCain' senate voting record was made up by some internet wackjob right. Check his senate voting record instead. AND YES I REALLY DO BELIEVE THAT HE DOESN'T SUPPORT THE TROOPS IN WHEN VOTE TIME COMES IN THE SENATE. Also how does being a POW qualify you for running the country? And you do realize that there is more to the Federal Government then Defense correct and he doesn't even have a viable plan for that.

Yeah, I too grow a little tired myself, of the education stuff and the notion that the rest of us are all stupid somehow. And just about all of it comes from the obama people. I think all of that 'college degreed people voted for obama' has gotten a little to much to some of their heads.

Well if you have a problem with izybx, then why come after me? You are obviously stupid. Sorry. But since when are people going to believe what someone is saying to them, when someone is calling them misinformed? Didn't it occur to you that it might offend me and that it would get us nowhere?

I made my point, in what I have experienced. The hatred coming from the obama side. I seen it with Hillary and now I'm starting to see it again with McCain. It doesn't matter what party I'm from or who I'm voting for. The point is, when will the hate stop?

This is the exact thing that tore us all apart in the first place. obama is losing a lot' of support. You can choose not to believe that if you want. I don't know what my 'misinformation' (and it's not true) would have to do with that? Something you accused me of.

I said it before and I'll say it again. Why do you's have to be so nasty about it? And don't throw me in with everyone else either.

You know, I'm getting real tired of this bellyaching from Clinton supporters. If they want to keep threatening Obama supporters that they're going to vote McCain, fine. Be sore losers and take your ball and run home. Just know that those that do will be responsible for the continued destruction that another Republican administration is bound to bring.

I commend Obama for maintaining his dignity throughout all of this, but to be honest I dont think America deserves his leadership, oh wait the leadership of an inadequate BLACK man.

Here's the Rev. Michael Pflegen showing class. He's the reason obama finally had to quit his church. And you have to agree, doesn't help his cause at all. People laugh at this, but this is pretty offensive to many. I think it's stuff like this that set the woman off in the above video.

Yeah right. I'm sure there is some sort of excuse for her racism. There always is an excuse when it comes to Hillary and her supporters. Pfleger was pretty much spot on in his analysis. He's a good man. I love how white people try to act like they have been the ones victimized by racism and oppression all these years.

Anyway, this is a comment by one man loosely associated with Obama. I didnt see Hagee being so closely associated with McCain even though McCain sought out his endorsement. In any event, the emphasis on meaningless wedge issues like this and typical divisiveness are some of the reasons why this country is in such a serious rut.
