I would say that dating someone you work with, works maybe .001% of the time (Meaning it ends in a great marriage). That's all relationships though. However, if you think this is truely someone you can truely, without a shadow of doubt, settle down with, then I say go for it. However, I've never dated someone I actually worked with, besides maybe a few single dates, now and then. I have seen a LOT of other people do it though. I'll tell you, it almost always turns out ugly. It's also almost impossible to keep it secret, because it's a small world and if the wrong person sees you dating around with your coworkers and leaks it into your work place, then it spreads like a virus and the rumors and opinions and bad blood starts to fly everywhere and it becomes very unhealthy for the relationship.
To top it off, it does, in the end, become a big distraction to both you and your partner, when you're at work, and that distraction spreads outside of work and can also tear up the relationship.
So overall, I don't recommend it, unless if either A) it's just a random hookup or whatnot. No hurt feelings, no bad blood or B) You really really feel that this is something that can last for a very very longtime.

I'm totally against anyone dating with people at the work place. It takes their efficiency away. Half the time I see people taking breaks to meet each other in the coffee room or outside so they can smoke with each other. Some start to look for excuses just to get with each other.
One time I fired a girl in her early 20's didn't know she was seeing anyone at work. The next thing I know her boy friend is going ape shit. For weeks this SOB was all disgruntled, depressed, talking under his breath every time I saw him, and started taking days off.
Another time there was a college girl who started to see a guy at the work place. Things were going all smooth until she found out the guy was cheating on her. She started to undermine him and then would come to me and complain about him. I hate dealing with this shyt.
I tell my employees its not wise to date anyone from work. If you do start to date, keep that shyt at home or for your personal time. I want no BS if you break up.

Dating at work causes many problems(listen to an ex playa). Many dates at work can result in divorce when marriage partners are involved.
People think because they see this person at work all dressed up looking nice smelling good is how they would be for them at home . Not neccessarily!

I would never recommend that unless where you work there are 100's of employee's and you guys don't see each other a lot.
The lack of control or a eventual breakup can ruin your work relationship or you even losing you're job.

my general philosophy is if not in a committed relationship to sleep around as much as possible wherever possible. The only added pressure of sleeping with coworkers is you have to do a good job. They all talk in the girls room and if you get your groove on right the first couple of times you suddenly notice the amount of smiles you get from girls in the workplace has gone up.
Just dont lie and promise stuff... keep it on the DL. Let the women do the talking (its their job).
