Off Topic · OT - Fishing (page 1)

I've started taking the kids fishing. We went at the end of September and caught a bunch of snappers and porgy. We we back last weekend figuring the snapper would be pretty big by now and got skunked. We went to another spot on a bridge and I asked a guy there what was running and he said white perch. Again we got skunked.

where can I find a fishing report so I can find out what's running where so I can bring the right tackle and bait?

Not so sure I'd wanna fish (for food) around the metropolitan area, because of fear of high levels of mercury, but here's something. LOL

Thanks, the nyc fishing link looks good. We're catch and release (when we actually catch anything)
