That was' pretty funny though.

But just wait until they start tearing down old Yankee Stadium. That's gonna hurt.

It's not going to happen. Aren't they using the old Yankee stadium for other purposes like Little League games?

No. They will begin demolishing the Stadium in Spring of 2009.

last i heard is they're keeping the field there to replace the park they took over next door... the monuments will be moved to a new museum as to my understanding but they might have changed their plans to move them over to the new stadium... not sure.

Keeping the legendary field?? I wasn't aware of that. That's great! That's means people will still have something to measure things by, where the fence used to be, were the dugouts used to be. What a marvelous idea. I thought they were going to replace the field with a number of fields there. People can relive the exact moments that took place since the 1920's. Amazing! Why didn't the Mets or any other baseball team do this??
