NBA · Anybody bugged out that Timmy Duncan sat down during the game against the Virgin Islands? (page 1)

Big news story last week.

I think the press was trying to create a story and blow it up.

Personally I don't see why he would be conflicted against playing (beating up) against them, games should not have borders. But he did and so what. Timmy is a nice guy, I say leave him alone.

Anybody think it was a big deal he sat out?

Didn't think it warented more than 1 article....definatly over blown.

they should beat the virgin islands with out Tim, and they did.

non story. But how is it not a confliction??? Tim obviously loves the USA, and he obviously loves the Virgin islands, he grew up there till 18. how could there not be a confliction. tim did the right thing. it's called respect.

good point. Media was calling him out that he should not have sat out!

Was a slow news week, Public did not bite that story.

It's to be expected that the press, especially in this post-9/11, pseudo-patriotic manufactured climate that we are enduring in this country, are gonna say that. Tim did what he felt was right and didn't give a damn about the press or anyone else criticizing him. More power to him.
