Any ideas of some add/drops i might wanna make?? I was thinkin about dropping Gomes but im not sure.. let me know what you guys think!
You need some serious help at the SG position. But to answer your question, I'd take Gomes. I haven't checked the stats, but I'm pretty sure he's the more efficient player.
Barigani looks rejuvenated/motivated to me in pre-season. This is fantasy so you have to consider minutes. Gomes is gonna start probably, but when Love finally over takes him does he slide to the 3 or does minnesota throw him on the bench? Mike Miller is gonna play somewhere and that factors in. Plus they have mccants and they have a hard on for Brewer. Lots questions with minnesota.
Barigani might actuallly start @ the 3. If he doesn't he is definately gonna spell all 3 front court spots. Barigani's stats are similiar to Gomes when they are on their games, but Barigani gets more blocks.
You have a nice rotation of fwds and centers. I wouldn't say you need a shooting guard cuz some of your forwards are guard eligible.
That's as far as the help goes cuz any further than that and I'm gonna have to charge you....
I'm not going to figure out what stats you need, because I'm lazy. But here's how I see it:
Rudy Fernandez/Jerryd Bayless are the upside guys. If you need threes, grab Korver. If you need a potential double-double guy, grab Ty Thomas.
But I don't think that there is anything in particular you *should* do.
If Chandler is eligible at PF, I might recommend dropping Gomes to pick up Fernandez because it sound like he'll just be a beast. And because he has pro ball experience, I think he ends up starting over Steve Blake in some time, over Bayless as well.

Thanks guys.. im really tempted to go for Rudy... does anyone know whos getting the minutes out there in portland???????
I took Gomes before Gorden and Haslem, but for some reason hes not thrilling me and I wouldnt mind letting go of him
OBviously SG is my biggest need
http://www.rotoworld.com/content/Depth_N...This website has the Depth Chart for each team, that should be a good indication who will get the minutes, but I could be wrong about that, because it will change once the teams see who's hot and who's not.

I think you might want another PF/C since this is head to head in order to ensure that you are maximizing your opportunities to fill the stat sheets. Although I like Bargnani, I am not sure where his minutes come from with the addition of O'Neal... Moon seems to be in line to inherit the most minutes.
Now, to disagree with some of the other posts, if you need 3s for any given week, I would pick up Posey over Korver. Korver isn't likely to put up the number of threes he did in Philly two years ago.
Webster is out. Let him be.
Bayless and Fernandez will be fighting over minutes and you have a lot of PG/SG/G types to fill your slots.
In fact, your SG/SF slots are pretty well stacked while your PF/C eligible positions are pretty light.
I would look for an Andray Blatche or Marc Gasol before Bargnani and Barring that I take Ty Thomas. Ryan Gomes doesn't help you as much because he and Al Jefferson are playing the same night.
I think the thing in Head to Head versus roto is that you have to make every roster spot meaningful (not as many reach players), so I would look for the guys who are starting in committed rotations over guys who have potential upside. Not too many rookies are amazing their first year and they tend to be more turnover prone than their veteran comparables. People are picking up on Blatche, but he is still available in some leagues.
how many teams are in your league?
This is one of my teams:
PG
Andre Miller
Baron Davis
Steve Blake
Derrick Rose
SG
Joe Johnson
McGrady
Mobley
SF
Artest
Gomes
W.Chandler
PF
Garnett
Gomes
C
D. Howard
Horford
B. Lopez
I initially had Bayless, Duhon, Jeff Green but dropped them for Blake, Mobley and B.Lopez, since I didn't really want them in the first place, but the draft went haywire a few times giving me the wrong guys. Oh Well Stuff Happens LOL
It's a 10 Team, Head to Head League with Stats: PTS, REB, AST, STL, BLKS, FG%, FT%, 3PM
The Free Agents are pretty much the same as Elite has, especially with a 10 Team League it leaves alot of good options open as the season progresses, depending on the usual Who's HOT, Who's NOT, etc.
As far as Gomes is concerned he can fill the stat sheet on any given nite, he shoots FG 46%, FT 83%, Rebs and can shoot the 3 pretty good too, something that Chandler can hopefully provide as well given the minutes.

Gomes is what you see is what you get. I don't see his numbers getting any better than what he gave you the last two years, and I actually think his minutes will go down to make some time for Brewer and Love to play. You could drop Gomez and pick him up later, or someone similar (like T-Rex). Same goes Chandler, unless you want to show your knicks pride. Barganani is good, his numbers are even more valuable than gomez already, by his blks and 3's. A difference of .5 blks or .5 3's is huge in fantasy. There's only like 20 guys in NBA that average more than 1 blks and 1 3's. Also, Barganani has a lot of upside left in him (1st overall pick), and JO and Bosh are not the most durable players.
Luke Ridnour is also pretty valuable. He shouldn't be on the waiver. A good solid PG with more than 6 assists a game is hard to come by (basing on his stats 2 seasons ago when he was a primary starter).

Should I tank FG%?? I'm kind of lost at this point in terms of strategy.. I'm tempted to let a week or 2 go by and live with this team see how I look.. Any advice is greatly appreciated!!!!
