just watched palin on CNN after she voted...

i still can't believe this person is even considered as a remote possibility of being president. i'm enraged nearly every time i hear her comment.

when asked who she voted for she said she's not telling because she's exercising her right to privacy...which she thinks is "pretty cool" about America...

just the way she said sounded defensive and foolish.

So you think she woted for Obama?

I just voted with my moms while my little sis watched. I live in the boondocks and there was an incredible amount of people at the polls. Usually in the middle of the day you could hear peoples voices echoing......not today....you hear buzzing and fussing....line was crazy. The people at the tables were searching for their district to try and get people outta there.

Is there some kind of election or something today?

My vote....

ROFL. That's beautiful. I wish I would have thought of that but unlike NY, Florida you are basically in a cardboard box. I am not even confident that my vote will be counted. My voting card is fed into a machine that similar to a shredder (it sounds like one too).

She probably wrote in Palin.

Just voted. I am happy to say that I didn't have to wait in one bit of line.
Allanfan20 @ 11/4/2008 12:59 PM
All this time, I thought the election was being cancelled because of Martial Law.

Arsenio still has that many fans?

I hate black people but I voted for Barack and hope he can carry Missouri.

Huh?

I think it was a bad attempt at humor by King1. At least I'm hoping so.

I agree. It was tasteless, but I've never seen him post anything even remotely similar to that. I'm sure King doesn't mean it.

So I guess King doesnt stand for Martin Luther King......so will we get an explanation? or was this his way of saying David Lee got traded?

Perhaps his response can be understood if you compare it to this story of an Obama canvasser in Pennsylvania (I have heard a phone call version, too.):

So a canvasser goes to a woman's door in Washington, Pennsylvania. Knocks. Woman answers. Knocker asks who she's planning to vote for. She isn't sure, has to ask her husband who she's voting for. Husband is off in another room watching some game. Canvasser hears him yell back, "We're votin' for the n***er!"

Woman turns back to canvasser, and says brightly and matter of factly: "We're voting for the n***er."

The story, and its derivatives, seems to be moving into the category of urban legend, but it might say a lot about where the country is heading (and coming from). Hopefully the original poster was thinking along these lines?
Pharzeone @ 11/4/2008 4:44 PM
I heard that story. My favorite are the pictures of the houses that have the US flag, Confederate flag and an Obama sign in Indiana.
