CNN is boring. I can't stand it. Nice try though.

Very. Its kinda sad though, because they have been so unfairly painted as "liberal" (facts = liberal shifted into high gear during the Bush administration) that they have gone out of their way to be as non-partisan and as benign as possible. Their programs for the most part are dreadfully boring with little teeth.

Still the place to go for straight news and responsible journalism.

When you see someone with these views, please simply ENCOURAGE them to keep spreading their views. The prominence of these people in the Republican party is the best thing the Democrats could ever ask for.

Although its tempting to think that, and its comical to watch hilariously obtuse right-wingers choke on their own bile, the problem is that they are stirring up emotions within very unstable circles. Its getting to the point where SOMEBODY is going to think its their American duty to do something about Obama and his administration, with the way pundits prattle on about how he is "destroying" America.

That is true and a good point
sebstar @ 4/12/2009 1:10 PM
Glen Beck is like Oprah for the angry white male, huh? You guys are like a bunch cornered wild animals at this point.

You've obviously been reared in an environment where your ideas were never challenged, or devoid of any intellectual stimulation. Funny how you go in on Rev. Wright and the first lady but you dont hold America accountable for its disgusting treatment of its own people (Blacks) which obviously prompted the sentiment of individuals like the aforementioned. Obama and Wright arent " the good submissive Blacks" who wont acknowledge America's cruelty towards their people, sorry bout that.

Similar to the way you are attacking Obama, for all things giving the Queen an IPOD (lol), when you no doubt looked the other way when Bush/Chaney were using the constitution for toilet paper.

And when you factor in voter intimidation by Acorn and massive voter fraud in places like Detroit (check up on it), I would say it was anything but democratic. Also, I am certain that even some Obama voters are enraged with how he is handling himself both at home and abroad. No one wanted Obama to destroy America, which is, sadly, going on all around you. Wake up and smell the roses...or what's left of them.

You're whiny and play the victim. You republicans need to stop with all this anti-American, unpatriotic nonsense. Either love America or leave it, just that simple.

Sound familiar?

My ideas never challenged? Not the case; although the way you are responding indicates that your ideas were never challenged.
your ideas? What are you talking about? Your rhetoric is unoriginal. I have heard it several times and it never made sense! I doubt anything you say is original.
I go in on Rev Wright because he is an American hater and Obama listened to his American-hating preachings for 20 years.
You are quoting right wingers on TV and radio word for word!! Just cause you say you came up with this stuff yourself doesn't mean anything. You cant even paraphrase someone elses talking points, you post them word for word! Prove to us that Obama as President has listened to Rev Wright.
It is not an excuse for our president to hate Whites and America.
you reek of neocons ideology! you sound brain dead! I cannot believe you think Obama hates whites and hates America. Can you prove this? How does he hate America?
And yes, an iPod. Someone like you, obviously, doesn't see the problem with this. It would take some type of culture or class or SOME values to realize how stupid giving the QUEEN OF ENGLAND an iPod is.
BTW, the Queen of England the English people hate the US politicians and think most Americans are pompous pricks. They especially hate the red states. Read some British newspapers and you will see how critical they are of America. Do some research.

Bush has been closer to the Saudi royals that any other American in the history or America! He allowed them to smuggle drugs across continental US, gave them diplomatic immunity and used american soldiers for them as bodyguards in europe. Cheaney's Halliburton headquarters in Dubai not America. The neocons are in bed with the people that sponsor terrorism.

What's that video, silverfuel? I saw nothing wrong with it, unless you count the words that were added in to spin it a certain way.
Did you see them holding hands after the kiss on the "cheek" and handshake? Did you never hear about their involvement?

Who is Glen Beck?

I go in on Rev Wright because he is an American hater and Obama listened to his American-hating preachings for 20 years. And how exactly did America 'disgustingly' treat its own people? I don't see it. Regardless, even if America did somehow mistreat its own people, it doesn't give Rev. Wright a rational excuse for preaching the stuff he does. It is not an excuse for our president to hate Whites and America.

And yes, an iPod. Someone like you, obviously, doesn't see the problem with this. It would take some type of culture or class or SOME values to realize how stupid giving the QUEEN OF ENGLAND an iPod is.

Man, you're a trip. What the hell?

LOL @ not even giving a passing acknowledgment to America's racism. Hey, you lame, Rev Wright is an ex-Marine who defended this country honorably and came back to a nation that wouldnt even give his people, and himself obviously, basic human rights. So your ignorant ass better check yourself.

"Regardless of if America did mistreat its own people"...Yeah, America was complicit in an environment which saw Blacks beaten, raped, murdered, and lynched while facing constant humiliation and subjugation. That's Rev Wrights world.

And LOL@ at Obama hating whites when he is half white himself. Sigh.

Well, I know an IPOD doesnt approach the Bush list of ignoring intelligence that led to 9/11, putting cronies at top level FEMA positions, turning a blind eye to his crook friends at Enron, and outing CIA agents that disagree with his administration politically....But hey, nobody's perfect.

At least most braindead conservatives can at least form coherent arguments out of their ridiculous talking points. You're just spouting off without any rhyme or reason. I hope you're a gimmick.
sebstar @ 4/13/2009 2:39 PM
Sure thing, buddy.
Bonn1997 @ 4/13/2009 2:40 PM
I will be back tomorrow or the next day with a well formulated response to your statements and questions.
I.e., "I expect it will take Rush at least a day to respond to my e-mail request for help in this thread."

Just joking around man. Don't take it too seriously. It's not like anyone's gonna change their opinions here.
orangeblobman @ 4/15/2009 6:20 PM
I did some research, and I gotta say, you guys were right I was wrong. I absolutely LOVE Barry O! I don't know how I could have been so wrong. Anyway, I volunteered for America Serves and everything. Let's do this, man! CHANGE IS HERE!

That's it? Let me guess: Rush didn't reply to your e-mail.
orangeblobman @ 4/15/2009 8:18 PM
That's it. Yea, Rush was too busy being a poo-poo head!! So I switched sides! Lol. Nah, but, it just makes sense man. Peace and love, and all that, you know? Hooray.

My bad. And a lot of people "saw the light" in 2006 and 2008; so change can happen indeed.

I'm reserving judgment so far. I think the buyout was terrible. Those of us who are single and not homeowners will wind up paying the tab so that homeowners who bought houses they couldn't afford can keep their homes. Why wasn't the bailout also to help people who haven't yet had the opportunity to buy homes? Why push them further away?

But again, that's my initial perception, and it will take a long time to see the long term ramifications.
Bonn1997 @ 4/16/2009 1:06 PM

I highly doubt the Republicans in Congress would let that happen. Those are the last people the Republicans are concerned about. There is a lot money in the stimulus bill for education and infrastructure programs, which should eventually help the people you're thinking about.

Being one of them, unfortunately, no, it has no impact on me but will cost me a lot.
