has anyone seen this yet AT THE THEATER and not the bootleg copy you copped at you barbershop? i am thinking about taking my son to it and he is nine. i wanted to know if it was appropriate for him. he handled incredible hulk and iron man but i definately did not take him to see the dark knight. also i heard critics ripping this. is it really that awful?
i saw half of the bootleg. it seemed like it was giong to be drawn out. cant remember if there is bad stuff though.
going to see it tonight... i'll let u know how it is.
too late, tms, just saw it. well, first it wasn't that bad for my son to watch which was good however i was disappointed with the movie. the action was subpar and the director's pacing was awful with scenes that dragged. gambit, who they advertised greatly, had just a little more than a cameo. also if you are a deadpool fan, which i am grateful i am not, you will be pissed at what they did to that character after a good beginning. there were some interesting things like the montage with the wars. i wish they focused on those more. matter of fact, i would watch a wolvie movie with him in battle alone. also jackman does well with the role again but leiv shreiber stole the show. he was so good in his role but again he isn't in there that much to matter, every other actor was running through the motions except the 2 minutes with deadpool courtesy of reynolds who more than made up from his debacle of a movie with blade trinity. marvel's last two movies were disappointments ( this movie and punisher war zone) so i hope they are not dropping the ball because they are getting sloppy.

i didn't get to see it this weekend cuz had to attend an event... thanks for the review... i'm gonna go see it cuz i'm a big fan of the XMen franchise, but i'm disappointed to hear it wasn't all that... the last XMen movie was sloppy too... w/a character like Wolverine u can make it dark like they did the Christian Bale Dark Knight but i guess they still wanted to appeal to the younger market? or else maybe Marvel's just selling out to franchising & video game appeal w/squeezing as many characters in as possible? i'll give my review after i see it but at least now i won't have to expect too much.
i liked it. it was an OK storyline but they had to do all that because they were showing what made him the way he is.
