Hey Caseloads and Kam77 welcome to the board. We love newbies.

Actually the joke would be funnier if Martin and Andrew hadn't destroyed my post count, morale and entire life in general.

Maybe if you were a human being and kindly asked to have your post count back, they'd give it to you. :-P

Gentleman (and any ladies - Bip?), Cosmic has once again come thru and proven why he is the man and a first ballot Hall of Famer here at UK by helping me with the plaques that I wanted done for the Hall of Fame.



That is the basic concept we are working with. It will be cleaned up a little more and made to look proper when the plaques for certain individuals are made. Which brings me to my next point. I need people to start telling me if they want a plaque. I can't do one for the entire Hall of Fame. This would take a lot of work and I don't want Cosmic to go through that or think he would anyway. I have decided that the "Founding Fathers" (the name may be changed due to complaints) will each get their own plaque regardless. Anyone else who wants one, please ask in this topic.

Let me state once again that I am listening to all ideas for thread and phrase/term hall of fame nominations. We know the Alba, Bush thread, send closk, caccas, and some other stuff is going in. Please give me some ideas. A lot of you old school dudes have been here longer than me. Help me out and give me some ideas. The threads and phrases/terms will not go thru voting so don't worry about having to choose one if you like all.

Furthermore, holfresh and oohah were inducted into the Hall of Fame without voting because they were initially forgotten and I don't believe they need to go through a voting process. If people want to see them ascend into "Founding Fathers" status, please chime in here as well and let yourself be known.

One more thing - the voting ends on Friday for the current polls. After Friday, I am putting an end to voting for the time being in order to avoid cluttering the forum and to end any complaints for people upset with this whole HOF concept. During that downtime, I will again ask for recommendations and advice from all of you to better the hall of fame. If people have a problem with me being "in charge" of this, you can ask someone to remove me. Thank you.

Yes but whos going to being the first inducted into the Atrium of Glory? And the Inner Sanctum of Wonderment. Not to mention the Rear Stairwell of Mediocrity.

And by the way... every single-looking SaraMae of appropriate age on facebook.

Who would you hope it is? I go for Nos 2, 12 or 13.

How can you post here and not know about the tragic legend of Saramae?!

Saramae met the One at the Knicks summer league in Vegas. They did their thang, but then the guy up and left before exchanging details. Brokenhearted, Saramae tried to piece her life together again. The only things she knew about this guy was that his first name was Mike, and he MIGHT work for the Knicks or cover the Knicks. She posted here in an attempt to find Mike. We of course treated her with respect, while secretly congratulating Mike for the slick way he had his way and left with NSA.

i think the thread where we posted all the image representations of each person's screenname should be enshrined forever in the HOF... i forgot the title of that one... anyone happen to remember?

I think GKF's fervent attempt to create an ultimateknicks hall of fame deserves to go into the ultimateknicks hall of fame.
