good World Cup
You think Ronaldinho will lose weight and get back to form for next year? I think this is his last real shot of taking over at that level. Also, Kaka and C.Ronaldo? I don't see that working because Ronaldo is a bitch. I know he was your guy for all these years but he is the Paris Hilton of football. Can't wait for the world cup! I am rooting hard for Brasil with my buddy guns. Should be a fun way up.

Ronaldinho's done. Was done last year but got lucky in a setup like Milan that really prizes vets. Sorry but the dude is so 1990's. Turns out he didnt have the work ethic or strong mentality to handle the tough times. He wont play in the World Cup, probably wont even be on the team. Brasil simply dont need him.

Fingers crossed Kaka and Ronaldo will crash and burn, but Kaka has a real head on his shoulders and might just defer. Ronaldo is a game-changer flat-out. Thats why Fergie played Rooney on the wing with Ronny in the side, cuz Rooney is the greatest pro Ive ever seen and will do anything, absolutely ANYTHING on the field that is asked of him. I am sooooo impressed with Rooney. The guy has more talent, heart, focus, bravery and engine then 99.9% of players in the world and his coach asks him to track back down the wing so Ronny can do his thing and didnt say a word! He will be huge for United this year and deserves everything coming to him. Its gonna take a real strong coach to keep the new galacticos on the same track and Pellegrini might just be the man, although he doesnt have an experience in the real top top flight.

And good luck supporting Brasil in the WC, but IMO they wont win it. If I had to pick a South American team, it would be the Argies. Top contenders for me are Spain, Argentina, Brasil, Germany, Netherlands and (whisper it quietly) England. Fabio Capello is one ruffntuff mofo and he gets things done. Ghana are outsiders but I like 'em. I got my money on Spain, Argies, Germany and England in the semis with England winning it. That might just be me dreaming, but a mans allowed to dream!!

Besides, everybody knows that the greatest part of the World Cup is watching France crash and burn. Oooooh, gives me a tingly feeling all over just thinking about it. Domenech must be the luckiest man on the planet. I have no idea how he still has a job. He's like Layden taking over Spurs and turnng them into the Clippers. Great job Ramyond, keep it going!! You got Ribery, Gallas, Malouda, Abidal, Clichy, Benzema, Flamini, Anelka and Nasri not to mention one of the greatest players in the history of the game in Thierry Henry and you still suck!! Ignore the press, you're doing a grand job.

Always important to keep believing

Only way you'll win is if Stavros Flatley plays. Legends.

^I disagree.

Soccer is the ultimate poor mans game. All you need is a ball. Even basketball needs a hoop. For soccer, you just need a ball. I have seen kids in Brazil playing soccer on the street. I've seen them make a ball out of rolled up socks. I have seen kids playing barefoot in the sand. There is a reason why its the most popular sport in the world!

But not in America. In America it's an elitist sport.

No, your reasoning is wrong. You are looking for a reason why its not popular in America and that's not the reason why. If its the cheapest sport to play, then why would it be elitist?

Golf is an expensive sport and its incredibly popular in America, so being an elitist sport doesn't determine popularity.

I concede. I guess it's not popular because our country is saturated with football, baseball, and hoops so soccer has no room to blossom, it's being smushed.
