Volume--technically this will go much higher as long as it isnt part of a pipe. Right now it has all of the news it needed

Settle in bro--this will be a winner. Accept that stocks can go higher and lower very quickly--every stock cant be vertical the day after you bought it. I think in the near term IGOI and GSIT will be the short term movers to the upside. I think you could easily see IGO @ 2.00+ by the end of the year.
Expect to be in this stock for a year or more.

Yeah, I had a feeling this one would go like this - it is similar to what used to happen with DNDN - it would hover around $4, hit 5, earnings would come and then it would drop back - but eventually it hit $25. If this doesnt jump after the open I might purchase a little more to average down.

GSIT beat earnings so tomorrow could be interesting.

GSIT is a little stalworth. It has one of the best balance sheets for a small cap in the entire market--they bought back 1.5mm shares and carry roughly 85 mm in short and long term $$$ with 0 debt. The day their revenues picks up is the day this thing flies to 12-15-20 bucks or moreover time--a true buy and hold stock that will pay off big time. They have incredible margins great management and their biggest customer are Cisco Systems a huge Japanese company and the US Government--those are good places to supply.
I still strongly believe IGO will bring back the biggest short term gains of the stocks I hold. It did run that day from .7 to 1.32 6 weeks ago but it's resistant point is now sitting at .84 and the stock closed at .82--if it closes above .84 that resistance becomes support and the new technical resistance target sits up around 1.40 . I think only good news will be coming out in the next few months to add some momentum to the stock movement as well---cheaper stocks with small floats can move very fast and give huge gains as we saw when it did .7-1.32

Is Aria = ARIAD Pharmaceuticals, Inc ?

Thanks Briggs- I did notice your advice on sudden vol increases...Aria had huge volume on July 28 ... 22.4 mil shares when the avg is 1 mil and the other days this week about 7 mil/day.

Briggs, I'm going in on ARAI as soon as some funds transfer to my trading account! I hope its before the fucking thing moves up.

Its been a tough Briggy day!

I doubled up on Aria at 1.82 from 2.64.

Took a small profit on a portion of Immu 2 days ago (was up 65% in two weeks), put it back in and then some today.

OasisBU @ 7/31/2009 3:19 PM
I sold a call against my position that should lower my basis if it is not exercised. I also sold my IMMU position yesterday to take some profits - good call Nalod.

I won't speak for the BRIGGS picks but my general sentiment is that the market is ripe for a nice pullback. It could pop 1-200 more points and then do it, who knows, but I think it will happen. I have put myself in a nice cash position anticipating the pullback. If it doesnt happen I miss out on some growth but I think it will.

Interesting play on ARIA -

Buy at $1.92 and sell a November $2.50 call for $.45

If you are called out you are selling at $2.95 so you are making about 50% on your money
If you are not called you own ARIA at $1.50

It is risky because Phase III could fail, and you wont capture the upside if it is successful, but nobody is going to argue with a 50% return.

This was set up for a pipe. I thought it mightve been--not to worry--this will be back up there in due time and beyond. Sometimes it takes more than 5 minutes to materialize. These things can have very rapid movements.
OasisBU @ 8/7/2009 11:43 AM
BRIGGS - do you ever play the bank preferred shares? If you are interested take a look at the RBS P's its RBS.PR.P on Etrade, not sure on other programs) - trading at $13.50 about an 11% yield. I know you like to play mid caps but I made out well some other preferreds and think this has a few $$$ (3-4) upside plus you get the yield while you hold.

I am in @ 12.91 with 2k shares

Don't want to step on any toes, just though you might like a tip yourself

Got to sck it up here for a few months--diluted shares. I talked with IGOI CEO last week. I originally bought @ .54 and after the conversation added another 30k shares on Monday. I feel as confident as I can be that it will take off by years end--my goal is 3-4.00

Briggs.. just to let you know. I took out my initial investment of IMMU and just ride the profit that I took in - that was a great call on your part.

I think I'm going to ride your hot hand and use the initial investment that I took from IMMU and pop it in igoi.

Thanks for the update, much appreciated.
