Off Topic · for comic book fans: disney bought marvel!!! (page 1)

i have mixed feelings about this. it is great for marvel to finally have the backing of a major studio like wb and dc but then i don't want disney's mitts all over the marvel products. imagine an avengers movie using rejects from high school musical or a moon knight pixar movie. that is what i am afraid of but keeping my fingers crossed that they will go with the flow and let marvel continue doing their thing.

$4 billion right?

Disney has made some outstanding movies the past few years so this can't be too bad.

marvel stock went up $10+ in after hours trading before this morning...

the only way I'll be happy about this is if Disney starts making animated Marvel movies... could you imagine Pixar making a Spiderman movie or a full length cell shaded X-men movie? If they do what jazz said I'll be pissed, but if they make animated Marvel film I'll be stoked

they should do a mighty mouse movie

yeah but they did release high school musical 3 last year. however i heard that they will not interfere since marvel is succeeding so i hope they are true to their word.
