the twins are one of the best organizations in all of sports. small market, they lost superstar players yet continue to win as a franchise. they lose johan + hunter and then morneau gets hurt and they don't miss a beat...

that could've been leyland's last game as a tiger's manager...

You can thank Patrick Ewing...he was my "hero" when I was in grade school and at Georgetown...the day he was drafted by the Knicks I became a fan (and left the Celtics behind)...ended up going to school in NY...lived with two guys from Chicago---that forced me to become an even stronger fan....and I am still here...have remained a fan even since Ewing (and winning)---so I guess I am a lifer!
