is worth spending the extra money on a macbook or should I just go for a non-apple for a cheaper price?
only if you can still afford to get your hemp clothes and the birkenstocks you really wanted
orangeblobman wrote:only if you can still afford to get your hemp clothes and the birkenstocks you really wanted
if you ever saw what bitty looked like, you would never say that about her....girl is too fine for birkenstocks my man...and i believe she'd rather smoke the hemp clothing than wear it
^^^^ Lol @ hemp clothing and birkenstocks because they would never see the inside of my closet.
So should I get a mac?

you're caustic in attitude, big turn off, sorry bitty.
you should only get a mac if you don't like tinkering with your pc. so yea, get a mac.
personally, i enjoy the wilderness that is the PC, you can do anything you want on it, with it, in it, it's kind of sexy. lot's more options with a PC. but life is easier with a mac, i suppose. go get the mac. and go be trendy, girl.
This coming from the guy who comes off like a serial killer. I consider it a compliment that you find my attitude to be a turn off.
But if you have no kind of expertise or valuable information to add why don't you go ruin another thread somewhere else on this board.

I just added good info (i tell you if you like to experiment you take pc, if you like easyness, you take mac). And a serial killer? Sorry, I am not kpf3, you must have me mistaken, he creeps around UK gatherings and stalks you people.
And, have never ruined a thread in my life. Caustic.
Also, I find the idea of 'ruining threads' to be held by immature individuals.

and if u argue with idiot, people can't know who idiot is between us bitty. maybe you seem idiot now, because you argue with me, the village peasant idiot?
i had a PC from like windows 95 until june of 2008. bought a macbook then, will never go back. regardless of trend, its way more functional. i haven't had a problem in 14 months, haven't had any virus issues, screen has frozen maybe 2x. love it.
Bigsmooth,
I think I'm going to buy it but what programs would you say is absolutely crucial upon purchase?
Oops I meant to put that Apple is selling the macbooks for $999
get the macbook... less headaches w/viruses & whatnot, nice interface, & some really cool software comes bundled w/the package.

I know what you mean. Check out my sig.
As for the computer question, I've heard great things about Windows 7. The IT guy in my office calls Windows "Winblows" and even he said it was a stellar operating system.
So, it depends on what you'll use it for. If you're going to do multimedia intensive things or don't want to risk your office software crashing, go for an Apple product. But if you're just using a computer for basic operation I'd suggest saving your money
(edit:) I just saw you can get it for $999... unless you can get a quality product for significantly cheaper, just gt the Macbook. That's a great price for a great product
i will say tho, one drawback of macbook is no built in bluray player, so if u wanna watch true HD movies on your laptop, u're better off w/a PC.

I got the macpro for a little over $1000 and I mainly became interested in the Mac because I wanted to upgrade on photo programs.

What are the specs? (Screen size, hard disk size & RAM)? I mostly use PCs for work, but I do have an Imac. I can run Windows on it using Bootcamp or Parallels (which lets you run Windows in a virtual machine). I'm getting a new laptop before the end of the year and was planning on a IBM compatible, but maybe I should get another mac.

Apple is having a one day sale today on the macbookpro but here's the specs. I highly suggest checking out the sale today but don't purchase it from Apple because it's like a $100 cheaper on Amazon.
2.26 GHz Core 2 Duo Processor
2 GB DDR3 RAM
160 GB Hard Drive, DVD/CD SuperDrive
Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard operating system
13.3 inch LED Display, NVIDIA GeForce 9400M integrated graphics
that's about right...
wtf does "having a sell" mean?

Every time I logon this board I keep hoping this is the day you've been banned. You really make visits to this board unpleasant. I do not understand what other purpose you serve on this board besides annoying the hell out of people, ruin every thread you participate in, and making offensive comments. You come off as a complete attention seeking troll.
