Bitty, this is a primitive, dog-eat-dog culture. Having more than your neighbor is not only celebrated, its idealized. Accumulating assets is the goal and female conquests are no different.
But lets be real, a lot of women dont respect nice guys and subscribe to the nice guys finish last theory. They want a douchebag, or at least thats what they ultimately respect deep down. Hence, the fascination with bad boys.
Yeah, women will pine for a nice guy once they get played by a bad boy, but they get real bored with a honorable, respectful cat. Sure, there are always exceptions to the rule, but if one starts treating women nice and with respect that woman will more often then not, move on because she will feel like she has conquered you and controlled you.
They will go and bang some guy that you used to be. The guy you were before you got all soft. I've learned lessons like this the hard way and I wont be made a fool of, or love a female ever again outside of my mama and two sisters.

I mean, damn ya'll you wanna know about white privilege, just picture this. Imagine if Sarah Palin were black? They wouldnt let that broad teach a special ed class, let alone entertain any thoughts of her being POTUS...get real!

i know. i worked in that industry for about 3yrs doing A & R work so I saw it first hand. it's pretty sad how the whole industry operates.

from 1994-1997, i worked for one of polygram's hip hop labels - i cant tell any specific stories or you'll know who the people are, but here are a couple of REAL quotes I heard while being in meetings with some of these execs referring to their artists. here's a few:
'he's gotta rep his hoodness to the world in order for him to maximize his wallet'
'america lovin black people right now, we gotta take advantage of that for (insert name here). black sells, so max out his blackness, we all get paid.'
'we need to put him in the image of the next BIG to make some money off his skills. yeah, he can rhyme ok, but the image is what the people wanna buy - we need to sell him on livin the life. give 'em (the marketing team) blunts, (corn) rows, and guns to work with then watch the sales go through the roof.'
PS: about 2/3'rds of the execs in the room where black and they were the most vocal. bottom line, only color that matters in this world is green - and green doeasnt care what your race is. lots of people will use their own sterotype to advance themselves and damn all the high and mighty of us who say that's wrong to do.

Your what early 20s that hardly makes you any type of life expert and certaintely no expert on woman. If you've choosen to have negative outlook on women don't be surprised that all you attract is the worse of the female gender. I don't say any this to be mean-spirited but I think sometimes we all need a reality check moment.
