Once again, good call. To the guys that own it, what are you going to sell it at?

Some stocks are high velocity ones and have there place in a portfolio. In my view these get smaller allocations in a portfolio but you let them run when they do. Some will fail. Smaller bets with bigger upside.

So I'd let it run. Some have done quite well in fact and the temptation is to take principal out and just let it run. Briggy no doubt has a good formula and as he has so defended that all of them don't always work out. Thats true but you have to plan for it.

Im sure you know all of this but its a question of perspective and opinion. We all look at things differently.

Bull markets are born in misery and the climate is not good now, so Im bullish. I don't expect anything great for a year or so but im in when it happens. I employed leverage a year ago when things were awful so I could hold onto cash and still get a good upside. Thats wound down now and Im picking up things here and there.

Briggy is very good at these things and is more logical than emotional about the knicks. For me the knicks are entertainment so while I don't thing Lebron is coming I am still foolishly hopeful!

Good to see. A very smart person told me to shut up about this kind of stuff and I am taking that advice. You can hit on 8 out of 10 and make good green but the two you did not hit are like the third out in the World Series. I've got too big of a mouth sometimes about too many things--basketball site basketball site:) Best wishes

its back up!

BRIGGS, thanks for all the tips, they have been amazing. You can pick winners!

Nalod @ 3/11/2010 11:05 AM
I don't know why briggy gets upset when we talk about this stuff other than maybe he should not be discussing them.

But its been great fun to watch some of them. And yeah, somtimes they don't do what they want us to do, but thats how that dog hunts!

Maybe he can do it without telling us how many shares he takes down personally. I realize he don't like to talk about it anymore but he did create a bit of a following here I suppose. IN fact, Bonnie made so much money he retired and does not participate anymore.

IGOI is a great story. Maxwell is very interesting although the fun has not been there yet. The GSIT position has also been fun to watch.

Thanks Briggy!

I realize you might be restricted in your information but its been great fun and enjoy your views on these things.

No secret--have been doing it for 20 years since the day I graduated. If someone didn't open their mouth and question anything--I would've continued. But one fat mouth = not worth it. And someone I used to work with told me not to open my mouth anymore for several reasons and he's probably right.

briggs, i never invested in any of your tips, but i just wanted to say thanks for sharing. i hope that by the time i'm ready to delve into making investments, that you'll be around for me to pick your brain.

Thats too bad man. I can tell you I really appreciated them and nyk4ever has already thanked you too. I understand you would rather not make picks right now and it sucks that some other asshole had to ruin it for the rest of us. You have consistently picked winners.
nyk4ever @ 3/29/2010 3:31 PM
igo up .20 today - biggest gain since I bought in on it. Made myself a real nice chunk of change today. Briggs again - thank you sir. thank you thank you thank you thank you.
