K, so apparently he's allowed to yell at me and give me "reality checks" about a team he knows nothing about (while talking down to me) and I'm supposed to say "hey, thanks bro".

Anyway, I should be more mature. Understood. My apologies dodger.

Its all good man. Never intended to "talk down to you" and as I said I was simply voicing my opinion and just find it a strange that you assume, that I know "nothing" about your team just by the sample of one post.

Geez, I feel like a Knicks fan tonight. Wait, I've been one for the past ten years

This is a totally different Mexico team. They are so fast up front.
loweyecue @ 6/17/2010 9:00 PM
Good overall showing by Mexico. But the French were determined to beat themselves.

Sorry French, I was pulling for you guys. And apparently totally against the tide: wow, did Twitter have a lot of France-hating today! The Irish put a hex on y'all.

Three words. Do me nech. No inspiration, organization, nothing. Fighting with Malouda before the first game. I'm a United fan and even I think that Henry should be captain. And bringing your talismanic striker off the bench?! WTF?! Sorry French, but they deserve to knocked out in disgrace. Maybe they can start building for the future now.

Oh so Klose!!
loweyecue @ 6/18/2010 8:08 AM
Serbs up 1!!!!
Silverfuel @ 6/18/2010 8:09 AM
Serbia representing the pride of the Balkans!
loweyecue @ 6/18/2010 8:14 AM
I didn't see Klose's first card offense, what did he do?

it was a bs red
Silverfuel @ 6/18/2010 8:22 AM
i doubt germany can pull off a win in this one.
PresIke @ 6/18/2010 8:23 AM
klose's first yellow was the result of a few careless fouls. the one that earned his first yellow was actually not harsh...in fact i think the serbian player dived.
firefly @ 6/18/2010 8:25 AM
OK, this is officially the weirdest, most open World Cup in living memory. Does anyone know wtf is oing on? No form teams, no powerhouses. Dunno what to say.
PresIke @ 6/18/2010 8:25 AM
interesting if serbia ends up top of the group...

that would have ramifications for england and the us (if they can make it out).

i don't think england wants to face germany in the round of 16...actually, no one probably does.

Exactly dude! Exactly. Same thing in the Spanish group. Chile looked amazing so they will possibly win again and Spain will qualify on goal differential. But Chile might be #16 so we will have Spain, England, Germany and Brazil on that side of the bracket and Argentina on one side by itself.

They talked about it later, he put the ball in the net long after being called offside. Stupid thing to do.

PresIke @ 6/18/2010 8:28 AM
i don't get why espn keeps saying the u.s. are heavy favorites against slovenia...

really?

How do you work that out? Any team can land on either side of the bracket depending on whether they are winner or runner up in the group, isn't that how they do WC brackets?

firefly @ 6/18/2010 8:40 AM
Holy crud!! Thats got to be the bravest header ive ever witnessed. Jeez, I thought Podolski was gonna take his head off.
