PresIke @ 6/20/2010 3:50 PM
tragic for ivory coast...

damn...

african teams not doing well at all..

PresIke @ 6/20/2010 3:59 PM
ivory coast is missing something....too lackadaisical...energy is missing...gervinho brought some, but where else?

no service to drogba...

brasil hasn't dominated, imho, despite the score...just taken advantage with their skill of situations

loweyecue @ 6/20/2010 4:20 PM
I was rooting for IC, but that incident of acting just pissed me off big time. No need for that shyt in any sport. Disgusting.
PresIke @ 6/20/2010 4:21 PM
yeah, not cool...to be fair, kaka definitely was trying to be slick there with the elbow...
loweyecue @ 6/20/2010 4:22 PM
Earlier Dunga's complaining also forced a couple of ridiculous calls in Brazil's favor. Poor officiating overall.
PresIke @ 6/20/2010 4:23 PM
reality is ivory coast is pissed...it's a competition of the highest caliber...sometimes it happens...you wanna win...

It's like Klinsmann said, they fielded a 4-4-3 and played a 4-5-1. Their attack was predictable and unimaginative.

Villa saves Spain.
PresIke @ 6/21/2010 7:13 PM
yeah, should have had more goals...

spain showed you the kind of talent they have...

how about 7-0 for portugal against north korea?

damn...

IMO the Ivory Coast dude that flopped should be red carded for that ridiculous act he put on... that was just pathetic.

PresIke @ 6/21/2010 7:23 PM
it was a flop, yeah, although flopping is par the course in the game for some...

reminds me of how some "draw" charges in the nba...

Today is the day ! I work for a big management consulting firm in Paris, and they'll show the game at 4pm here in France on a huge screen in the auditorium. That is crazy, I had never seen that before. I'll go there and watch the game at our headquarters ^^
jimimou @ 6/22/2010 9:08 AM

What the public's take on the French team actions this WC? I know everyone is blaming the coach but players haven't exactly been performing up to par either. Now France could make it into the next round if Uruguay beats Mexico and they totally trounce South Africa right?

Down 2 - zip and playing a man down. If they can turn this around, they'll have enough confidence to win the cup.

ic, so if Greece defeats ARG & we tie NIG, it will depend on the goal differential?

yup - my only saving grace today is that since argentina is already in, they rest some players.

sk and greece are even on goal differential going into today's match so it would be the goal differential from today's matches that may make the difference if both clubs win or draw.
