This rumor started on Twitter. The guy said a client of his (he works on Wall Street) called him and said LeBron and Amare were dining at Sparks Steakhouse. Then he said he sent an intern there to confirm and he/she did.
The problem with that is that the guy was saying that they are "at Sparks Steakhouse now" when LeBron was still in Akron and there was literally a tweet from Brian Windhorst about him seconds later after that.
Lebron was not in NY today and he's not dining with Spike now either. He just rehashed an earlier rumor.

haha. i work right near there. i actually walked by it on my lunch break because he was supposed to be having lunch there with allan houston... it's hard to see what's going on inside there if you're invited in. darkened windows.

Come on people. And I didn't think we would get LeBron, but its right there in front of our faces. In fact id bet money the "Bosh says no to the Cavs" stuff was leaked by the LeBron camp as part of his exit strategy for PR spin control. He will say he exhausted all efforts to make it work in Cleveland but at the end of the day he had to go somewhere else to grow both personally and professionally. He will talk in depth about how he always plans to maintain an active role in his Akron community and that Akron will be home no matter where his profession takes him. Interesting that today when Wilbon asked Bosh about the Cavs situation he claimed the reason he did not go there is because he was not sure if LeBron was staying.
