It doesnt make sense for him to have his own announcment show and those two guys sign today in the morning. I don't see how they let his ego trump theirs. Doesn't really add up in my mind.
Also the Heat need to move Beasley before they can give him the max. If they all take paycuts it would be one of the most shocking things I've ever heard.

word is that lebron's people leaked the news early on purpose so bron could have the spotlight to himself thursday night. that would explain why broussard broke the story - his only source is maverick carter.

Here's the positive spin: everyone playing down the Knicks the last few weeks, based on erroneous reports, then we become the 'it' destination, cat out of the bag too soon, spoils the excitement of the moment of the announcement, so more erroneous reports aka cold shower so NYK can be the 'surprise' choice.
