IGOI got creamed. What happened?

Looks like panic selling for no reason - I guess people wanted to see greater revenues and are worried they may not be coming. It looks like a total overreaction.

THink you nailed it. I think another factor is IGOI had previously surged, so traders were playing with house money, and regardless of the earning news they were going to sell. It will rally again, especially with these mobile toys getting increasingly popular

Maybe they want to fire the coach after a bad loss? Oh, wait thats another thread.........
Markji @ 3/11/2011 11:11 AM
Looks like about 600,000 shares were sold within the first half hour. Big price decline all the way down to $2.71. Now at $3.15.

Institutions owned 40% of IGOI so probably some institutions decided to dump their shares.??

Could have been a myriad of things and reasons. Most likley trader whores are getting squeezed by margin and might have to dump. NASDAQ not been kind to folks and Margin kicks peoples ass.

Im sure Briggs will chime in soon enough if there is anyting to mention.

3.35 not bad after that. It was 3.50 a few days ago. I think that was it and if so then its more easy flow to the upside. Id love to see it close above 3.50--that would be nice.

Its creeping back up, the market is not as ugly as I thought it was going to be with the whole Japan disaster.

I look back i wish I set up a trading position this morning -my core. If there was material bad news--thats one thing. If there is panic--always buy its fundamental in the market buy into deep selling if there is no rationale reason for the selling.

The problem I have when things like this happens is that my mind starts to really see the downside so I get nervous about doubling down - but I have trained myself not to run for the exits (took quite a few lessons). I have been successful buying when something like this happens, unfortunately my capital is pretty tied up right now so I was only able to add 500 shares in a retirement account that happened to have some cash sitting in it.

This is very similar to that bounce and hold from a few weeks ago. It seems like there are so many retail traders on this thing like ticks. Look where the stock is trading after 1.8mm i mean volume has gone to a crawl--there is going to be little sell side volume left and its only .50 under the close and looks to be moving up.

BRIGGS @ 3/11/2011 2:11 PM
It not would surprise me if this goes green end of day---tremendous ly bullish rebound

wow days like this are incredible

Briggs - any news on IGOI. It has fallen almost 25% since the earnings call - $2.83 now. I've been holding. Are you still in for your full position?

I had a hedge on my position from that last buy that was set up to keep a profit in place since I moved up my cost basis from under a dollar. I did lose 40k$ on that particular last buy anyway and cut back my position to 50k shares free of charge + a net profit. I didnt like the last CC at all. So I am long but only with 10% of my original holdings. You know it went well from .5 --5+ and lets see what the future holds. My shares are no cost basis so the only risk that I have is profit size.

That's a pretty big change - what didn't you like about the CC that changed your mind?

Nalod @ 3/21/2011 3:08 PM
Briggs,

YOu went from 450k to 50K shares?

OasisBU @ 3/23/2011 7:11 PM
Unfortunately I got hammered on this one - I played it a little on the way up but got in at 3.86 on the last run and then the bottom fell out. Seeing as how briggs has lost his love for iGo and I am not really a penny stock player I am out.

If it doubles from here on out so be it but I just got a weird vibe. Good luck boys.

I got out also. Oh well. It was a worthwhile try Briggs, ole buddy. Won some on IGOI but didn't win them all.

I've been doing very well playing the gold and especially silver stocks now. I'll stick with that for awhile as they are hot.
