Knicks · Article:Randolph's Career best... (page 7)

Again. Stop bringing up wins and loses. He is 21 years old and need to be brought along.

Sprewell was a loser till he came to NY, Billups was in Denver, Zach Randolph here.

The issue is that we have Shelden Williams, Turiaf, Jefferies all playing minutes. Mike allowed Jefferies to play when he couldn't make a layup.

We gave the kid away for nothing and have no protection behind Amare; play him to many minutes and it will limit his game long term.

CrushAlot @ 4/11/2011 11:17 PM
Randolph is having another good game. 13 and 6 at the half.
CashMoney @ 4/11/2011 11:19 PM
He started...sucked, didn't practice hard.... see ya later. Let's see where he's at in 2 years.

He never started in the regular season. Did he get a start in the preseason before the trade?

You're right, he came off the bench...sucked, didn't practice hard.... see ya later.

Nalod @ 4/12/2011 7:58 AM
I never saw AR at his current girth as able to play at the 4 or 5 for us.

Anthony Roberson essentially destroys his premise that practice defines anything about a player

Thank you. Jeez, forget what the writers and what the reports are, MDA just didnt't like AR.

nyk4ever @ 4/12/2011 3:12 PM
i still never understand why people think a coach wouldn't play a player he thinks would help the team WIN.
Juice @ 4/12/2011 3:15 PM
Beat writers also told us Moz was beasting yet many defended coach for DNPing him games on end. I really hope some of you don't hang your hat on everything they say. Especially Hahn

moz practiced well so he EARNED the time and he eventually got it.

Killa4luv @ 4/12/2011 3:18 PM
U guys are lucky I'm not a mod. I would lock the hell out of this stupid ass thread. Were in our first playoff series since 03 and people are talking about a player who is 6-11, weighs 90 pounds, has shown signs of being a player, is mentally fragile, and is clearly not ready to contribute for us. Lets sticky this thread until about 2 years from now. At least next year.

Moz got time right away and then immediately got benched. Then it took a Shawne Williams suspension mixed with obliteration on the glass for the coach to wake up again on the kid.

Like I said Roberson was the greatest shooter next to Gallo D'AnToni ever saw in practice AND?

Practice folk legend tall tale stories don't really paint a clear picture of anything

Shawne Williams busted arse all summer according to coach and Amar'e but was pegged down below AR to start? So if AR was lazy at what point did it take place. Before Williams was busting arse or after?
