Knicks trying to be fancy instead of making the crisp pass.
Memo to

,
NEVER PLAY CARTER WITH FISHLIPS, we play 3 on 5 on offense when they are on the floor together.
rose playing till the end? crazy.
Knicks play to helter skelter with Douglas and Carter in the back court.

Check out Deng with 43 minutes.
OK, so we didn't sweep the Bulls. Whatever. We're going to the playoffs anyway.

Bulls trying to go into the playoffs with momentum. Plus we whipped them throughout the season so its a little psychological.

You are blind my friend. This team does play D. The playoffs are going to be a totally different season and this team is going to be ready for it. I'm excited to see a playoff series for our franchise and i'm not taking these last 2 games that serious. The season is basically over and all we have to do now is get healthy and work on some new tricks for when teams try to take away some of our strengths. I fully expect the team to be competitive against the Celtics.

That is the issue with Douglas. If he isn't scoring he is useless.
Dude must sleep in a desert. He's Nate Robinson without the athleticism and immaturity. Just a nightmare to watch....no one at MSG including his teammates, and viewers knows wth he is going to do on the court.
Seriously Douglas makes my head hurt. His defense is also highly overrated.
We need vets like Battier. Guys you can trust to make the right play.
he has tendencies that need to go away. gambling on defense, not hitting the open man in a timely manner, avoiding contact at the rim...
i can see why mike gets on him, he needs to play smarter.
I blame Nalod's pics! No Gamethreads for you!

He's much like No Sharrington was last year. Momentum rally killer late in games...a guy when he makes a 3 when looked at objectively isn't necessarily in the best interest of the team because he'll follow it up with a heave, a floating chuck, a turnover trying launch from his own 10yrd line, then back to making a layup, then an air ball 3, then an ankle breaking making 3. All without his teammates ever seeing the rock
I'm tired of watching this from him....sick and tired of it
His defense is laughable at times, he's more a hacker than anything else and commits them at the most inopportune time. I've never seen him run 4-5set plays in a row for someone else not named Toney Douglas....he was told by coach on the sidelines to Do U earlier this year and Toney just smiled...knowing inside his head he told himself you ain't said nothing but the first 3 letters of my last name coach best believe I will.
Don't be surprised to see a whole lot of this in the playoffs.
Defense, not offense, is the key to playoff victories.
The one bright spot is Shawne Williams. I think her earned a 3 yr deal for 6 to 9 million. Guy makes shots and doesn't try to be a hero.
Hopefully, somebody takes out Chicago before we meet them. We match well with Celtics and Heat. Bulls is a problem.

I did like what I saw from the Knicks overall in this game on the defensive end. Rose had a few leakouts and clear shots at the basket, but not to the degree that he usually does. Our D gave them some trouble at times, we just weren't hitting shots. This team can defend and I fully expect that in the Playoffs this team will be much sharper on D and have some answers on offense that we haven't shown teams yet.
It will make a difference having a healthy STAT in there too you know. The idea is that we play teams full strength and in that scenario I think it's MUCH harder to defend this team than what the Bull saw tonight. Don't be so sure that this Knicks team won't have some adjustments for when teams try to do what the Bulls did. That's what makes the playoffs so different. When the talent is equal it's often in the adjustments each team makes. We missed a lot of wide open shots and obviously we have the ability to hit those shots. If we did, the Bulls would not have won. It wasn't all their defense that made them win, it was also some bad offense by the Knicks. I don't believe that teams are going to be able to consistently hold this team down from scoring. The Knicks are a legit high power offensive team. Teams generally don't stop us, we stop ourselves.
Shelden Williams...lol
7 min against Sixers

Shelden Williams is trash man.
Jared Jefferies is trash.
Ronny Turiaf is trash.
Doesn't matter which one you play. You get the same results.
