Glad Kidd got a ring.
nicely put by terry there.
As a basketball fan, I have to say- to see a player of Lebron's talent only take 15 shots and score 21 points in an elimination game is an utter dissapointment. In an elimination game, you expect the greatest talents to step up and dominate the game and he never tried to take control in this series.
congrats mavs
Dirk, JT, kidd, marion, cuban, carlisle, chandler.. you guys are very classy and deserved this win..
I am happy!
the good guys win!!
Jason Kidd- definitely a player in his career who elevated the level of play of those around him. Very much deserving of a title- a true team basketball player.
Expooooosed. Did Lebron have one dunk in the game? Don't think so. There were times when I actually had to check to see if he was on the floor. Its going to be a long hot summer for them. Happy for Dirk and Kidd, whole team really. Gotta give credit to Cuban for sitting on his hands for the playoffs, couldn't of been easy.
Wade should change his ringtone for those T-Mobile commercials to Wa Wa Wa Waaaaaa.
DAN GILBERT is probably doing this right about now
Glad to see the South Beach Troika (or whatever they're called) go down.

Dude played like bitch. He needed to be humbled.
Dude let the no calls get to him. Pretty pathetic actually. Dude needs to step his game up to the next level.
Chris Bosh fell down on the way to the locker room in the back...she was crying teammates had to help her up
lebron and co. will only get better, imho.
i think most did not expect them to win the title in year 1.
amongst all of the adversity and hateration from many fans they managed to get to the finals.
yes, they did not succeed, and will need to work on things, but i fully expect them to be in the finals next year, unless another team does something to change my mind, which i don't see just yet...
meanwhile...
guess we'll have to do without ball for who knows how long now...
i'm expecting another 50 game season...
Did Jax really just say Nowitzki was Top 20 all time? Good luck Golden State. Apparently, your new coach has a debilitating drug problem.

I think the Miami offense got exposed. Heat have trouble scoring in half court sets. Lebron needs to learn to play off the ball. Wade needs to work on his jumper.
You cant run down the court and run ISO's everytime.
Gotta give D'AnToni some major credit here for what he couldn't do for Shawn Marion. He played one important factor for the Mavs
1 He got Corey Brewer an NBA Championship

Agreed. When the season started, most didn't have the Heat getting by the Celts, let alone winning thw whole thing. We all knew the Heat had major holes in the middle, at the point and were thin on the on the bench. Looking at the East, I see no reason why they wont get back next year.

Its time to give Carlise a ton of credit. That zone sealed off many penetration lanes, he slowed the game down the adjustments he made on the offensive end, won the Mavs this Chip.

Good point, I was surprised how easy it was to shut Lebron down on drives to the rim in a halfcourt set. It wasn't the case when he was with Cleveland. Their inside game was crapola. Wade seem to lose confidence when it was clear that LeBron wasn't going to show up again.

Wade had what? 17 in the elemination game. Look, I agree that Lebron was a bit too passive and should have forced the issue a bit more, but I think Carlise had a great game plan this series. He thouroughly out coached Spo....
