Knicks · Who we rooting for? (page 1)

Nalod @ 5/15/2011 9:12 PM

former rivals Miami and Chicago duke it out.

We care either way?

Knixkik @ 5/15/2011 9:16 PM
It hurts either way, but i would have to say Bulls. I just don't want to see the Heat succeed. Either way, these are the teams we must match up to for the next 5-7 years.

Pretty much how I feel. I hate Derrick Rose/Boozer but hate Lebron/Wade/Bosh much more. It's not even close. I do not under any circumstance want the Heat to succeed all their time together.

To quote BlueSeats in the playoffs thread:
Anyone but Bron.
CrushAlot @ 5/15/2011 10:04 PM
Bulls. Hopefully K.T. gets some run.
mrKnickShot @ 5/15/2011 10:06 PM
I think the whole world is rooting for anyone but His Talents! If they don't win this year, he may never win. Ya never know season to season who will get hurt, chemistry sours etc ... PLEASE NO!
Uptown @ 5/15/2011 10:08 PM
Heat. NBA is a copy cat league. Heat winning it all may strengthen our possiblity of getting Paul. Big 3 of the Celts begot the big 3 of the Heat and hopefully the big 3 of the Heat will deliver us Paul....

I am getting queezy just thinking about that. Waaaaaaaaaaaaa - there I gggooo - I'm OUT!!

misterearl @ 5/15/2011 10:20 PM
Uptown - If the NBA is a copycat league then the Bulls depth, lightning quick lead guard and suffocating defense will command attention.

Forget the so-called big three.

It takes eight to tango.

Gymkata @ 5/15/2011 10:31 PM
Bulls. Then the Thunder in a Finals sweep.
Juice @ 5/15/2011 10:37 PM
COLLUSION down 0-1 to Rosey's Bulls

It would be kind of cool if they could get swept

Hopefully the Knicks make some changes and try to imitate the Bulls in their preperation, practice, defense and team play.

CrushAlot - preparation is not an issue. Having Carmelo and his new friends from training camp will help.

We talkin' bout practice?

Defense will improve with the drafting of Darius Morris, who can set the tone in the backcourt.

So will team play. Maximize assets.

NYKBocker @ 5/15/2011 11:19 PM
Da Bulls. Then Dirk Diggler for the whole thing.

Word. Forget Bron Bron, I still hold a Fax Riley grudge.

SupremeCommander @ 5/16/2011 1:00 AM
I kind of want to see Dirk win one

and I really, really, REALLY want to see David Stern hand Mark Cuban the trophy

Mray20 @ 5/16/2011 1:02 AM
I wanna see the Mavs win I don't care about Chicago or Miami

Better yet, who are we not rooting for? Heat- No, Dallas-No(Kidd the wifebeater is still a wifebeater), Bulls- ehh, OKC- Here we go baby! Thats who i'll be rooting for !
mrKnickShot @ 5/16/2011 1:50 AM
Agree - OKC

Former Knick as a coach! Very likeable team (for now at least - until one of them say "i'm taking my talents to xxxx").

franco12 @ 5/16/2011 8:02 AM
Actually - for those wishing Maximum hurt on Lebron - the best thing would be for them to get to the finals, and then get swept!

Ratings - imagine OKC & Miami? I bet Stern is having a nightmare about that one- and to some extent- that impacts league revenue & as we're maxed out on 2 players, we need all the room we can get!

Personally - would like to see Dallas win- the refs screwed them last time with all the phantom calls on wade!
