Some idiots think Shumpert is Mardy Collins, but they better start thinking more like Westbrook. This kid has great speed and lateral quickness. 7' wingspan. There's no reason to get upset given what was left on the board.
As for MDA. You think he didn't have say in this pick? I think he would love a kid like this. Shumpert is a great rebounding guard and once he has it he can start the offense and will be a blur on the break. Why in the world wouldn't Mike love that?

Kings just got Fredette, but maybe they make that Casspi for Douglas + cash trade mentioned about a week ago, to pick up a defensive oriented guard to get about 20 MPG while Evans and Fredette are on the bench.
Wake me up when we get our other two picks....... :(
