I hate it when video ads are embedded in websites and start playing. Is there any way to block them? ESPN is the worst.

Yes. The FlashBlock plugin. I use it in both Firefox and Chrome. There's something for IE, but I don't remember. You will also notice your browser crashes much less, since Flash plugins are the biggest source of browser instability, IMHO.

I actually plan on getting paid this way by posting youtube videos. If you're clever enough, you can make a nice career out of it. Obviously I don't plan on making it a career, but it's a nice way of gaining some secondary cash.
