Did the dude leave ESPN? Did he get fired? Was it really his choice to leave and start a blog?
Well, either way, who really cares?

There is a audio link on his website where he talks about having worked something like 19 years at Associated Press and another 9 years at ESPN and just wanted to try something out on his own.
Didn't realize he was this experienced -- I always thought he was a young guy -- early/mid 30s.
I really like Sheridan's new blog. He is on twitter a lot also. Both is blog and twitter links would be nice additions here.

This guy is a hater no way his stuff should be linked here!

WE should not block dissenting views when perhaps they have been more correct than not over the years. The "Hate" has been more truth than not. Knicks like any other team has to earn the respect.
Our management and ownership has been for the most part a travesty.
I'd rather read harsh opinion than fanboy hope and dreams.
In the end the wins and losses speak volumes and exposes the truth.
IMO If and when this season happens, there will be a lot of positive press for this franchise. I see this team as a 50 win range team and with that and making the 2nd rd of the playoffs this team will get respect. That's what I expect from this team given the makeup of the team now. Not too much to ask. If they don't do that then they deserve bad press.

"Now it is such a bizarrely improbable coincidence that anything so mindboggingly useful could have evolved purely by chance that some thinkers have chosen to see it as the final and clinching proof of the non-existence of God.
The argument goes something like this: `I refuse to prove that I exist,' says God, `for proof denies faith, and without faith I am nothing.'
'But,' says Man, 'The Babel fish is a dead giveaway, isn't it? It could not have evolved by chance. It proves you exist, and so therefore, by your own arguments, you don't.'
'Oh dear', says God, 'I hadn't thought of that', and promptly vanishes in a puff of logic." Douglas Adams
