Great game 1. Baseball needs instant replay though. The call on Beltre in the 9th for the second out could have been a series changer. Beltre is a great hitter and was on his game tonight. I hate watching over and over again the blown call that an ump makes without any recourse for change. It seems like this could at least be put in place for the world series.

Yankees lost. Baseball season is over.

Nalod @ 10/26/2011 8:32 AM
Have not watched a single inning. Dunno why.

Dunno why you would care to know why.

Dunno why I would care to post about why you would care to know why you dunno why you don't know why.

Be careful! Don't get hurt!

NObody fell out of the stands in Texas, thats good news!

Big sports news! Rain in St. Louis. Makes jumping and falling over walls going for those foul balls and homers all the more difficult.

Gotta watch those wetspots in the field in St Louie...be careful...

Nalod @ 10/28/2011 1:29 AM
turned it on in the 7th inning. Kept falling asleep.

Texas one out away.

Oops!

Great game. One of the most exciting in WS history.
Go Cards.
CrushAlot @ 10/28/2011 10:00 PM
How do you walk in two runs in game 7 of the WORLD SERIES
MaTT4281 @ 10/28/2011 11:50 PM
Congratulations St. Louis! How about David Freese?

Didn't really care one way or the other, although now I won't have to listen to friends back in Texas. Hopefully we'll see the Yanks at least work their way out of the ALDS next season.

Congratulations to the Cardinals. There is always something special about the character and unselfishness of a championship team that never gets old.

It was probably just a ratings scam.

Send closk.

This was unexpectedly a great series.

A BIG CONGRATULATIONS to the Cardinals. They played well and deserved it. Good teams make their own breaks and the Cardinals sure did that.

There is something great about this franchise. They always somehow wind up in a playoof race or in the playoffs. And unexpectedly win. 11 Championships is a great accomplishment. I think only the Yankees have more.

The Cards come from behind so often even just to make the playoffs. In 1964, (Yeah, I am dating myself) the Cards were 6 1/2 games out with 12 games remaining. I think in 3rd or 4th place, yet won the pennant by one game on the last day of the season. Reminiscent of this year. And then went on to beat a more powerful Yankees team in 7 games in the W.S., just like they beat the more powerful Rangers. And always with great, all-around team play.

Congratulations to a great franchise. If only the Mets would learn from them.
