There was no sense in getting together if the season wasn't going to happen! If they get a deal I expect the players to get together before camps open.

No point playing basketball if you ain't getting paid. Risking injury, who is gonna take chances right now.

Amar'e has been pushing that thing back since July.

yeah but I would've loved it if Melo, Amare, Billups, Iman & some random big man showed up at the Rucker or any other tourney during the summer & dropped 50 each. It would've made them legendary in the hood LOL

It's scheduled to start right after the players form their own league.

It's funny how the gears just grind to a halt without baller money to grease them. But their events their decision. I don't really begrudge them this.
