Al Jeff would eat our cap but he is a big.
Not sure how he works with Stat, and he won't come cheap.
What do the jazz want? Billups and Fields? Its financially friendly for them. Bring in Baron Davis (if he is freed) for two years and groom Shump?
Can we even have any tolerance for patience to groom a player, or must we have everyone at the top or past their prime?
Kudo's to the Jazz for using in prime assets to build forward. Deron for picks and Favors.
It sucks when it does not work, but when it does the franchise gets set for years.

"shopping" implies trade.
This would be a great move for Utah. Jefferson and Milsap are now assets they can move for other parts. They have C-Kanter, PF-Favors, PG-Devin Harris. They need SF and SG. I view CJ Miles as a 6th man.
Both Jefferson and Milsap have 2 year contracts. Unless, Knick brass think they are the real deal then we should not entertain this option since they are quite expensive.
I like Milsap though. He would be interesting.

I am aware of that (though I know that was not clear to any non-mind reader). I was taking his contract into account and wondering if they did amnesty him...
